This goes against the Nuremberg Code.

I believe all people have a right to decide what goes in their body… no one else gets to decide that for anyone else… plus as of the most recent data, 71% of people getting omicron are vaccinated and 60 % of those hospitalized are vaccinated

There should be no mandate. These kids are not at risk for serious illness and do not need a booster. This booster does not stop transmission and we do not know the long term effects.

I do not believe that the COVID shot or boosters should be mandated.

We are in the United States a country of freedom and choice. There are medicines that have been around for years that cure this virus other than a shot. Freedom to choose, especially when parents or students are paying for their education. Not a college's choice, a student/family choice.

Mandates are unconstitutional and are not based in science.

I'm signing because I support all that this petition states to support the welfare of the youth of CT

This should not be forced on anyone.

I am tired of hearing about the fake pandemic. There never was a pandemic. This is another manufactured crisis by the far left wing crazy people.

My child will never step foot on a campus that does not support our freedoms.

I am signing this because this goes against what is being said. Vaccines for Covid do not work as we now know. The boosters are not effective against the current variant. The vaccines available in US are NOT FDA approved and are still under EAU. The successful recovery rate for this age group of humans is essentially 100%. Stop the tyranny

I have a student that falls into the first category of being double vaccinated & had omnicron over Christmas break. I’m very concerned about a hyperinflamatory response to an additional booster when he has bulletproof immunity & is unwarranted

These injections have proven to not be as safe as originally claimed to be, especially for the majority age group that attends undergraduate college. There should never have been a mandate anywhere for something that has risk and no one holds liability.

Agree with the above information and think Booster shots are unnecessary for young adults falling in those categories. Risk may outweigh the benefits.

People are being unreasonable about these mandates. Myself snd my boyfriend had covid 23 months ago snd natural immunity is still going strong!

All the points above are very valid and our students do not need a booster.

I'm signing because I had to terminate a valued healthcare worker who was unvaccinated, yet posed less risk to our patients than anyone.

The Covid vaccines cause more harm than good and it should be a personal choice- not a mandate to get a vaccine. Education surely should not be held at bay to force someone to get a vaccine.

I am vehemently against these shots for healthy, young adults. It is a travesty and criminal to force this against their will.

There is no indication the booster will be effective with the new variant

There should be medical choice

This age group has 0% risk

If the vaccines are intended to lower risk of hospitalization and death - and admittedly NOT to prevent getting the virus or transmitting it- what could possibly be the purpose?

The risks are high for this age group to take the shot especially if they’ve had Covid previously. The risks don’t outweigh benefit.

There is no liability for anyone if someone is vaccine injured now or later. They have no recourse. How can you force a medical experiment in someone when you take zero responsibility nor does anyone else and have no idea what the long term impact will be on a students immune system later, reproduction, cardiac health, cancer and more?

Where is there ANY data that a booster keeps anyone more safe ?

Most of these kids have had Covid or omicron and it was like a cold.

Following Moderna shot 2, I got myocarditis, requiring 3 months of treatment with an ARB cardiac drug, and permanent neurological injuries. My heart is not the same and I’ve been referred to a cardiologist & neurologist. I was healthy with no such problems before. The minuscule increase in “protection” for ~12 weeks with boosters v the serious risk of permanent injuries makes it imperative that no vaccines are mandated for anyone, especially young, healthy students. Vaccines do not stop infection or transmission of Covid-19 and do not “protect others” or prevent community spread. Vaccination should be a decision between an individual and his/her physician.
