It's a B.S. bylaw and Karen's need to find something else to whine about

Robert Sheppard (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#7

This by law needs to be changed. We live in the country not the city.

Ashley Barron (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#13

I believe this bylaw to be prejudicial to those unable to transport their atv to trails to ride in three seasons of the year.

Jenn Dobson (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#14

I’m signing because this law makes it impossible to enjoy responsible ATV use all summer .

We need to drive a mile down to road to a trail or buy a trailer and tow is literally few blocks .

Please Amend the law.

Anna Hicks (Newmarket , 2022-06-21)

#17

I want to be able to ride the road to get to the trail

Rafal Dzbanuszek (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#21

As a family we love four wheeling, we are always respectful when I’m town, and follow the rules of the road.

Casandra Richardson (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

#26

ATVs should be allowed on the roads during the summer for the sole purpose of safely arriving at the nearby trails.

Annie Hacker (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

#28

This needs to change

Brent Laus (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#29

We love the country we live here it’s outdoor fun for the kids and adults to bond and enjoy our wilderness the kids aren’t causing havoc and are learning not to be on electronics all day

Liz Plant (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

I think ATVs on the roads ( abiding by the street laws and not reckless) is not a bad thing for our town. It also helps for tourism (if the trail system stretches this way) and business for struggling stores through town.

Jeremy Wheeler (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#40

I'm signing because I want to get rid of the by law so we can ride at and dirtbikes to the trails

Dylan Boake (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

#52

I would love to see my surrounding Community's move forward with with the times in a positive manor allowing atv/utv or any other recreational vehicle that is plated and insured on the roads all year round, with respect to each individuals choice of transportation. It is unfair to expect a person or family to have buy multiple very expensive machines to get around and enjoy the most from their lives.

Jason Weese (Kirkfield, 2022-06-21)

#53

I ride my ATV in the summer as well as the winter.

Laura Falke (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#54

It’s a stupid bylaw

Nicole Kraschina (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#57

I believe the by law should be changes. We live in a cottage/country area for a reason

Danny Yim (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

#58

I am an ATV owner that would like to take my ATV through town to get to the trails without having to put it on a trailer to drive a few minutes up the road.

Cailee Laus (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

#59

I live in Beaverton, and believe that this by-law is unnecessary.

Janna Martinez (Beaverton, 2022-06-21)

#65

I’m signing because I’d love to be able to use our four wheelers all year long.

Ryen Smart (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#66

The current bylaw is outdated and needs to be updated. Quads ext require a license and insurance so they should be allowed in roadways

Peter Teolis (Beaverton , 2022-06-21)

#71

I moved her to get away from the drama. I love the small town feeling and country like behavior of quading and friendly smiles all around. The tattling on one another needs to stop, and the parents need to get their teens in check!

Jessica Clark (Beaverton, 2022-06-22)

#77

Unfair bylaw

Matt Kavanagh (Beaverton, 2022-06-22)

#79

Because I believe ATVs should be ridden all year around while respecting the law

Barbara Clauser (Beaverton, 2022-06-22)

#82

This is ridiculous!!! Leave them alone. Get the ones that are flying through and leave the rest of them alone!!

Shelly Elliot (Beaverton , 2022-06-22)

#83

Because people that obey the laws should be able to ride the roads to trails !!

Brendan Elliot (Beaverton, 2022-06-22)

#87

I believe atvs should be aloud on rds

Philip Richardson (Beaverton, 2022-06-22)

#89

I ride, how am i suppose to get to the trails, waste gas to to tow it there, no

Jaret Reid (Beaverto , 2022-06-22)

#90

AtV has to have a plate and insurance so why can’t we ride and respect the road laws ? No difference than a fishing license .. pay and play
It’s doesn’t make sense as for dirt bikes should be plated and insured too
If teens can ride a snowmobile and take written test and drive and honestly Snowmobile theses day are way faster but they get to cross the roads or drive up to a gas station and it’s fine ?
It’s so childish! Far for one far for all !

Cole Tanya (Woodville, 2022-06-22)

Josh Lehman (Pefferlaw, 2022-06-22)

Dylan Mclachlan (Beaverton, 2022-06-23)

#102

We are a rural community
We don't need these gatekeepers for this
We got bigger issues...no police no drs

Sandra Corsaut (Beaverton, 2022-06-23)

#103

I would like to ride my four wheeler

Eddie Price (Sunderland, 2022-06-23)

#106

All year round riding should be allowed

Paige Martineau (Pefferlaw , 2022-06-24)

#112

I've lived here just shy of 20 years snd have never had an incident with a 4 wheeler. I own 2 and use them rarely lately due to this bylaw and a "Karen" for a neighbour. There a 3 young men that out on their quads, in the brickyard, often and they are quite courteous and have helped when stuck on more than one occasion, so I take exception when I hear negative comments about "the young ones causing the problem" as this is not the case.

Leslie DESCHAMPS (Beaverton , 2022-06-25)

#116

As gas prices soar it is more economical for me to get to work. Atvs are useful tools and it is important to be able to get them from property to property in a convenient and timely manner by driving them.

Sarah Geissberger (Manilla , 2022-06-26)

#118

We need more Recreation and to be brought up with the times with all other townships allowing ATVs on the roads as long as everything is legal

Darren Reid (Sunderland, 2022-06-27)

#119

Alternate mode of transportation.

Linda Richardson (Beaverton , 2022-06-27)

#125

I feel tourism and recreation with atving is important and works well with many other small communities that I visited and should be brought to Brock Township.

Sue Shearer (Sunderland , 2022-07-03)

#128

I grew up riding on the old railway bed in blackwater. It was a safe place for us to ride and we rode responsibly in the area prior to being banned from it by the snowmobile club. I believe the trail system should be open to atv's as well during the spring/summer. Much like in the Kawartha's who operate much like the snowmobile clubs of ontario.

Jenn Baron (Cannington, 2022-07-22)

#131

Disappointed that Brock Township in North Durham has a silly by-law such as this … where as Townships in south Durham do not.

Jody Rowland (Sunderland, 2022-07-22)

#132

We moved here so kids could enjoy the outdoors. Let the kids do one of the outdoor activities they love all year!!
