Opposed to increased truck traffic

Thomas Slezak (Middle River, 2023-03-27)

#202

Because I don’t want more traffic on Ebenezer road along with even more trucks than it is now.
Take these warehouse where all the empty buildings sit on 43.
Your making these road unsafe and congested and turning it into a cesspool of concrete and buildings
We want our small quiet roads, trees, and animals

Jane Queen (Middle River, 2023-03-27)

#203

I'm signing because I am opposed to the LaFarge Property Development.

Terri Ferris (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#205

We don’t want anymore development in our community!

Dawn Harriss (Middle river , 2023-03-28)

#208

I'm signing this petition because.....I want to protect the watersheds and extensive natural areas of Baltimore county.

Constance Tawney (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#210

Enough is enough. We have already over developed this entire area! Not to mention there is an entire warehouse on Bengies Road that is empty and has become a dumping ground all around it.

Pamela Griffin (Baltimore , 2023-03-28)

#211

I care about preserving habitat for wildlife

Melissa Glee (White Marsh, 2023-03-28)

#215

I do not support this PUD!!!

Susan Beanland (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#216

We don’t want this in our area

Beth Myers (Middle River , 2023-03-28)

#219

I’m signing because I agree with this petition.

Nancy Pollom (Middle River , 2023-03-28)

#220

I am against this and want to preserve the land and community

Beverly Wesko (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#221

I’m signing because I am sick of the government’s hypocritical, money hungry ways. You say you care about the environment yet you allow big developers to tear down our forests and green spaces so that you, your family and your friends can make a buck-often times playing outside of the rules and regulations you make average citizens abide by! The property along 43 is already overdeveloped and destroyed and now Ebenezer Road too. Just yesterday we saw a family of deer walking through an empty piece of land on Ebenezer Rd that just weeks ago was green grass and forests. If you care about the environment, leave it alone and protect the special areas left.

Erin Sadler (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#222

I'm signing because I don't want this kind of development on an RC8-designated site.

Bernice Knox (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#223

I'm signing because I am concerned about the water/soil testing from the reclamation if any was done. I still remember what happed at "Love cannel" in New York State and the tragedy that caused.
Also I don't think that this area has the infrastructure to subport the proposed project.

Barbara Nypaver (Middle River, 2023-03-28)

#224

based on the ATTACHED PETIION and living in Bird River . I am very much opposed to the Middle River Park PUD/LaFarge Property Development, located at 633 Earl Road in Baltimore County.

Richard Kauffman (middle river, 2023-03-28)

#226

We need to conserve our natural resources. We don't need any more industrial park or office space. Fill the already empty properties before considering building more.

Linda Conn (Middle River, 2023-03-29)

#227

Adding trucks to Ebenezer road would be a disaster. There are already many accidents on that road. That area should not be allowed to change Zoning

Dave Volpe (MIDDLE RIVER, 2023-03-29)

#229

I live very close to this development and know it will make the traffic in and out of community worse than it is now.

rosalie weber (middle river, 2023-03-29)

#231

I’m signing because they are trying to make our rural area into Baltimore city. Lowering our property values. And exponentially increasing traffic on an already busy road. It will impinge on our quality of life.

Phyllis Neubert (Middle River, 2023-03-29)

#232

I'm very much against the PUD and feel the politicians did not keep in mind the infrastructure and the need for green spaces.

Sue Thompson (Middle River, 2023-03-30)

#234

I don't want to see industrial parks ruining our rural environment. In addition, the added truck traffic would interfere with our quality of life

Pam Spittel (Middle River , 2023-03-30)

#236

I’m against this pud

Jason Sines (Middleriver , 2023-03-30)

#237

I do not support the development of the LaFarge property! We do not have the infrastructure and we need to preserve the waterways!!!!

Melissa Lockwood (Middle River, 2023-03-30)

#238

I oppose development of Lafarge land because increased impermeable surface will lead to increase sedimentation in our waterways and flooding.

Raquel Muneses (White Marsh , 2023-03-30)

#243

I have lived here most of my life and it’s so sad to see all this building. It will just create more congestion and chaos.

Breianon Bose (Essex, 2023-03-30)

#244

I’m signing because the developer is using the PUD process as an illegal workaround for zone changing.

Melissa Harris (Middle River, 2023-03-30)

#245

I’m opposed to the Middle River Park PUD/LaFarge Property Development, located at 633 Earl Road in Baltimore County.

Tammy Shea (Middle River, 2023-03-30)

#246

I agree with the reasons stated in this petition.

Leah Biddinger (Essex, 2023-03-30)

#248

I care for the earth!

Rafael Jenkins (Essex, 2023-03-31)

#251

The infrastructure in the area can not support this and all the new houses being built.

Clarence Lowe (Baltimore , 2023-03-31)

#253

I am against this project and believe it will hurt the community.

Kurt Baliles (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#255

I live on Ebenezer and I am directly affected by this and definitely not for it.

William Wittekind (Middle River , 2023-03-31)

#256

There's too many houses being built, too many businesses popping up when there are plenty of empty buildings on 43.

Jennifer Pachilis (Middle river, 2023-03-31)

#257

I and my family completely oppose further development of this area

Michael Fine (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#258

I live in the neighborhood and it will directly impact me

Alan Whatley (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#259

This would ruin our community

Lindsey Fine (Middle river , 2023-03-31)

#260

Do not believe this facility should be allowed in the mostly rural area

Brian Brooks (White Marsh, 2023-03-31)

#261

This negatively affects my neighborhood and the overdevelopment has to stop.

Traci Yeager (Middle river , 2023-03-31)

#262

I’m in a waterfront community close to the Dundalk water plant and am seriously concerned there will be a disaster at our waterways or into our drinking water.

Michelle McCarty (Middle River , 2023-03-31)

#263

This is a terrible development for this community. Traffic, pollution, etc!

Jason Farley (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#264

I vehemently oppose the proposed development plans for the LaFarge property along Earls Road.

Christian Steiner (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#265

Protect our watersheds, environment, and surrounding communities.

Christine Riegel (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#267

I do not trust that the widening of Ebenezer Rd will not happen.
In addition, although there is talk of acreage being giver to the county for a school, it is my understanding that there are no plans for a school on that property

Robert Ermer (Middle River , 2023-03-31)

#268

I oppose this construction. Leave the land alone.

Charlene Smith (Essex, 2023-03-31)

#269

Our area’s infrastructure can not handle more traffic and people in this area.

Brad Thomas (Middle river, 2023-03-31)

#270

Such a drastic diversion from the underlying zoning should be evaluated through the CZMP. This should not be approved through a PUD.

Alfred Redmer III (Baltimore, 2023-03-31)

#271

This development will ruin our Bay Country Community. It will cause irreparable damage to our commute and traffic. It will completely ruin Ebenezer Rd

Jerry Davis (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#272

This is one of the most beautiful communities and I am a proud resident of middle River. People come here to relax and enjoy the natural beauty the world has to offer us. People have built lives here and our community means something to us.

Jordan Bardel (Middle River, 2023-03-31)

#275

The growth in Baltimore County is out of control.

Kathy Steel Robinson (Baltimore, 2023-03-31)

#277

This plan is in conflict with the future of Baltimore County watersheds and wildlife, lacks community input . Plus the environmental impact would be non recoverable.

Janis Gillespie (Essex, 2023-03-31)

#278

I'm sick of the contining unchecked deveopement and loss of open space. We need to preserve what's left before it's all gone!

Scott Sewell (Essex, 2023-03-31)

#279

This part of county cannot take more development especially more. Warehouse and house. We need this in its state.

Janice Sparwasser (Baltimore , 2023-03-31)

#284

I know the area well that is the subject of this petition. I live in a neighborhood that is waterfront and feel disturbing the ecosystem of this area would damage the feeder streams and rivers that run into Middle River. We also only have two paid fire stations for all of Essex, Middle River, and Chase. A facility this large would heavily tax the volunteer companies in the area and it will be overwhelming.

Cheryl Dansberger (Essex, 2023-04-01)

#285

I believe this is wrong for this area that is being over developed.

Tracy Thurston (Middl River, 2023-04-01)

#286

We do not need more wharehouses or development in general. The entire surrounding area is full of vacant new commercial property. We have heavy traffic and trucks on the adjacent roads.

Lynn Stevens (Middle River, 2023-04-01)

#287

I'm signing because of all the reasons listed in this petition. This significant commercial traffic should not be routed through a residential area. If permitted is is a travisty to the residents who elected their representatives. This is not what their constituents want. This development also goes against best environmental practices for preservation and restoration of the Cheaspeake Bay. Millions of dollars of public funds have been dedicated to this effort. This development would undermine that effort.

If permitted these trucks should have their own, new, designated route that is the shortest possible direct link to MD 43, ie. through the Greenleigh property.

Mark Guelta (White Marsh, 2023-04-01)

#291

I'm signing because I'm disgusted with the county destroying every little bit of land for business, industrial, and postage stamp properties! I raised my 3 children in Oliver Beach for a reason, it was still considered"rural" , no traffic no passers by going thru, it was clean and it taught my children to appreciate nature and wildlife while still having a community forum. Changing this area to any form of business, industrial or more housing goes against the very values of those living in this area. It brings traffic, trash and invites crime. Not to mention the displacement of our wildlife. We tear down trees and clear out their habitat where do they go???they have no home because of greed and stature, only to be killed on the now traffic laden roads while in search of food and safety. People down here expect to see fox, raccoons, deer possum etc. And occasionally a beautiful eagle. So to the builders and those buying your big fancy houses with HOA's and neighbors 50 ft from your home, go back to where you came from! You obviously have no appreciation for the land, or serenity this area has always offered. You are not wanted nor WELCOME! And yes feel free to publish my response with my name as I stand behind every word.

Sherri Peddicord (Middle River, 2023-04-01)

#293

We have a shore home rental in Bowleys Quarters and traffic is horrific on Eastern Ave. We don't need any more traffic especially big trucks. Location is too close to the Saltpeter Creek. We don't need any more development adding to the Chesapeake Bay issues.

Joyce Walls (Essex, 2023-04-01)

#294

It will be detrimental to the environment.

John Dawson (Middle River, 2023-04-01)

#296

I’m signing because this proposal will bring horrible congestion and traffic to the area. It will also negatively impact the environment by increasing waste and additional runoff into Bird River.

Andrew Spielman (Middle River , 2023-04-02)

#299

I totally disagree with this PUD...it is unnecessary for this area

Melody Elste (Middle River, 2023-04-02)

#300

I’m signing this petition as a 30+yrs resident in the surrounding community, I agree with the above petition. Ebenezer Road is one of two roads to gain access or exit our communities for this area. It’s heavily traveled by our residents to commute to and from work, school, etc. We already have numerous accidents and speed issues. A warehouse facility would only add to the issues on a road that is not accessible for the additional traffic. Save what is left of farms and wildlife in our once rural area!

Janet L Mazza (Middle River , 2023-04-02)

#303

There is already too much building in this area. The schools, roads and hospitals can't handle anymore increase in population. The damage to our waterways is also unavoidable with the increase in construction. Enough is enough.

Wade Henninger (Middle River , 2023-04-02)

#305

Iam against this Lafarge development

Maria Mcvey (Middle river, 2023-04-02)

#307

We want to protect our water and wild life. There is already too much development and traffic

Lois Crayton (Middle River, 2023-04-02)

#310

Too much development in Baltimore County We need rural and green dpace

Danielle Blair (Kingsville , 2023-04-02)

#311

It would be very disruptive and cause traffic issues, decrease property values and make Ebenezer Rd even more dangerous.

Christine Marshall (Middle river, 2023-04-03)

#312

I don’t think the proper use of the land is being fulfilled with the current proposal

Robert Callahan (Middle River, 2023-04-03)

#313

We need to protect our water. We also have too much developed going on. Our wildlife is being squeezed out. Our roads are overcrowded

Barbara Maher (Baltimore , 2023-04-03)

#314

If this development is approved the area will be too congested and traffic a nightmare!! I purchased my home in this area to be “away” from all the over development and to be in an area that is quiet with lots of wildlife to enjoy. There will be no wildlife left because they will have nowhere to go if the area is developed cutting down the trees and destroying the area.

Carol Tevis (Middle River, 2023-04-03)

#315

Area is over developed. Run off and erosion is bad for the bay and the ecosystem.

David Shine (Middle River, 2023-04-03)

#316

This development project is to the detriment of our family, our neighbors and our community.

Steven Lee (Middle River, 2023-04-03)

#317

Property is zoned RC8 and should be protected. Bringing in 11,000 vehicles per day is not sustainable with the current road ways.

Barbara Blackburn (Baltimore, 2023-04-03)

#318

We need no more traffic on Ebenezer Road , especially trucks . Too many accidents. We need green space , already overwhelmed with buildings. We are a direct run to the bay .

Linda Shifflett (Middle River, 2023-04-03)

#322

My property backs up to the quarry and I do not want any more development at all we are extremely overcrowded now or roads cannot handle anything else our government is so corrupt if you have enough money you can do whatever you want

William Keller (Middle River , 2023-04-03)

#326

Because I live on earls road

Caitlynn Blackburn (Baltimore , 2023-04-04)

#327

We don’t want that shit poisoning our waterways and blocking our streets!!!

Brie Burdych (Middle river , 2023-04-04)

#329

To protect the watershed and Chesapeake Bay and the community grom excessive road traffic, particulary on Ebenezer Road padt the Elementary school.

David Friskey (Essex, 2023-04-04)

#330

I don’t want over development of my community or anymore pollution in our local water and critical bay areas

Coleen Caldwell (Middle River, 2023-04-04)

#331

There is already an overabundance of development with no roads to accommodate the traffic, as well as the damage that will be done to our wildlife and watershed.

Merry Boyd (Dundalk, 2023-04-04)

#332

This proposed commercial project is a threat to the air, water, people and wildlife in the area. If a PUD is allowed to be applied in this highly sensitive environment area, then there is a threat of having even more environmently zoned land destroyed. PUDS are supposed to be used to benefit communities....this proposal will be nothing but detrimental

Jana Leonard (Middle River, 2023-04-05)

#333

They are killing our wildlife and making things ridiculously crowded!!

Joanne Walp (Middle River, 2023-04-05)

#334

It doesn’t need to happen fill the building on 43 before anything else needs built in the area

Ryan Taylor (Baltimore, 2023-04-05)

#336

concern of water quality of the Bird River

James Martin (Baltimore, 2023-04-06)

#337

Traffic in the area is already a problem. Adding the volume of large truck traffic makes no sense at all.

William Cole (Middle River, 2023-04-06)

#340

I moved to this home 8 years ago with my husband and 3 children and instantly fell in love with the quiet and slower pace. Within the past 8 years the amount of over development is so sad and is changing the whole dynamic of a once quiet residential community. The traffic on my road and Ebenezer is already out of hand. I am highly opposed to this and will most likely be forced to move if it happens because the roadways already can’t handle the current traffic. This would be detrimental to the community.

Regina Barys (White Marsh, 2023-04-07)

#342

I would like this area to stay the way it is. We don't need any more construction/building structures in this area. It would also be within a 5 mile radius of Rt 43, where there are several buildings still sitting empty after being built at least 5 yrs ago. We didn't move down to this area for it to be built up. We moved down here for the local farms, seeing the wild animals and the country living. Stop bringing more infrastructure to OUR neighborhoods.

Donna Himes (Bowleys Qtrs, 2023-04-07)

#345

This will negatively impact my neighborhood and my kids future. There is a ton of development already there that is not filled. Developments are no longer needed.

Colleen McGraw (Middle River , 2023-04-07)

#346

for watershed protection.

Diane Carliner (Batlimore, 2023-04-07)

#347

I oppose anymore development in this area.

Melvin Bauernfeind Sr. (Middle River, 2023-04-07)

#348

This land should be preserved

Debra Hustedt (Nottingham, 2023-04-07)

#351

We need to protect our watershed areas. Over the years Baltimore County has allowed development to encroach closer and closer to the Gunpowder watershed!! Most recent is the housing development in Perry Hall the butts up right in the Gunpowder.

Constance Hess (Baltimore county, 2023-04-09)

#353

I purchased my home in Oliver Beach because I love the peace and quiet of this secluded community. Building a PUD in this in this area would take away from the serenity of the area, increase traffic in the area. It would also increase traffic in our neighborhood due to traffic cutting through the neighborhood trying to avoid the obvious traffic that would flood the two lane Ebenezer road. This is the first time that I have lived in a community that I feel safe with my children riding their bikes and taking walks with their friends without me having to be present. I don't want that taken away. It is one of the main reasons I purchased my home here.

Coreshia Meade (Middle River , 2023-04-14)

#354

To stop the placement of these warehouses!!!! There will be to much traffic of trucks in our area. Eastern Ave is not a good alternative to have these trucks travel on. This madness has to stop!

Beth Stone (Middle River, 2023-04-14)

#357

I'M against more develapment

steve wagner (KINGSVILLE, 2023-04-14)

#359

Because I want to protect the wildlife preserve the watershed

Thomas Eckhardt (Middle River , 2023-04-15)

#360

The development is premature and requires a zoning change. I do not approve a zoning change. The area is vital for agricultural and natural uses. Development would put a strain on major roads and traffic. This proposed project goes against common sense.

Constance Esposito (Lutherville Timonium, 2023-04-15)

#363

To help protect the watersheds and extensive natural areas.

Timothy Byrd (Dundalk, 2023-04-17)

#364

I am very concerned about the "complete over-development" of the Chase, MD, and Middle River area. The charm of this area is being torn down for the consumption of "mega-millions" in profit consumption by developers who don't live here or care about our community; it's all about greed!!!! How many more self-storage bldgs and warehouses do we need in and around our neighborhoods and precious waterways and marinas. THIS HAS GOT TO BE STOPPED AND PUT on Route 43 where there are plenty of empty bldgs not being utilized. How many more housing developments can this area possibly be able to accommodate??? Our greens spaces and natural landscapes and waterways are being destroyed for profiteering!!! The roadways are already difficult to manuever. Can't this be relocated to Sparrows Point area. The encroachment of commercialism has sneaked its way in to every possible forested area possible cutting up roads to install sewer lines; it's never ending and constant development every where you look!! Our roads and infrastructure cannot handle all of this rampant insatiable commercialism and development. It's got to be stopped !!!!

Christi Sullivan (Middle River, 2023-04-18)

#365

The infrastructure in the area can not support the amount of traffic it would bring with it. The land should be purchased by State or County for open space, being so close to the Chesapeake bay it would help the bays health.

Edward Kramer (Middle River, 2023-04-19)

#367

Against the LaFarge development project

Gerald Jacksits (Middle River, 2023-04-22)

#369

Kim Parker (Baltimore, 2023-05-01)

#372

Inappropriate use of this property will have damaging, irreversible effects on wildlife and the associated watersheds.
