We Want A Skate Park for Avoca

Avoca needs a skatepark for more than one reason there is numerous children and teenagers who are interested in Scootering/Skateboarding/BMX Riding so why not build a skatepark to facilitate them, at the moment we have to make due with curbs, benches and walls which the tidy towns committee probably aren't to keen on and it's not safe either as most of the places we go to scoot/skate are either on or beside a main road and when we do find an area that is decent we are told we can't skate there because we will damage the cars or walls or something. Then people of an older generation have the ordacity to say that we're lazy or we all smoke and do drugs or whatever that's a stereo type that is almost completely wrong. We are not lazy we're simply bored.....

Avoca needs a skatepark to keep our generation occupied and off the streets (drinking, smoking,etc) not only that but it could make for a decent tourist attraction depending on where (if) you locate it
