Sporting to remain at Penryn

We as parents are participating in this petition to support Sporting Mbombela to retaiin it's training field at Penryn.

In the parents words: The school benefits a huge deal by having pupils who are professionally trained. This makes the school team much more competitive at no extra cost to the school. Secondly, the pupils within Sporting have a career path that school sports does not necessarily offer. After all we want our kids to fulfill their full potential.

Penryn over the years has systematically destroyed soccer within its sports program. The first sports field ever made at Penryn was a soccer field today there is no single sports field dedicated to soccer yet all other sporting codes do. This is despite soccer being the biggest sporting code in the country.

Agreed. I do believe that us parents can bring this to management. My children love soccer and unfortunately having to drive elsewhere will not work due to the already hectic schedule.

If someone can direct us in communicating as one voice, my family is happy to support a review of Penryns position.

Dear Sporting Family

Penryn is an ideal location, central and very convenient given that most players comprise of Penryn scholars.

As a family ,when met with problems as significant as this one, it is preferable to engage us in a manner that would allow us to come up with possible solutions to salvage the situation,as it negatively impacts us all.

Do not deny us (parents) the opportunity to challenge this decision by treating this like it is business as usual. As a bare minimum, give us a platform to TRY to help you, help Penryn see reason; to help Penryn see Sporting as an asset to its Penryn scholars. Whether this means we sign a petition, or we email the relevant stakeholders letters, etc,...I don't know ,but it is certainly worth a try.

We want to see Sporting succeed.Most importantly our sons love being part of the team. As parents we want them to enjoy the sports in a location that is safe, convenient and an easy and safe transition from the classroom to the sports grounds.

It is better to have tried and failed...than to have not tried at all.
