Stop the construction of a Cellular Mast in 7th Street Linden

A company by the name of Gyro Group (PTY) LTD intends installing a Cellular Mast on the property of No. 12 7th Street, Linden. Over and above the contentious health issues the cellular mast may bring with it, the construction of the mast will result in property prices dropping and the imposition of an unsightly structure on 7th Street.

There has also been a lack of transparency in the consultation of interested parties and it's contended that the process to have the cellular mast constructed is non-compliant with the respective By-laws and the Constitution.

This petition is drafted to carry the will of the residents and property owners of 7th Street Linden and the surrounding neighbourhood to:

1. Stop the construction of the Cellular Mast on the property of 12 7th Street Linden.

2. Force the parties intending to construct the Cellular Mast to comply with Legislation regarding construction of Cellular Masts and to comply with Municipal By-laws.

3. Enforce the constitutional rights of residents and property owners of 7th Street Linden and the surrounding neighbourhood.
