ENOUGH IS ENOUGH - SECOND BAIL APPLICATION

Thank you  to everyone who so kindly supported this petition to stop violent crime in our areas.  The suspects appeared in court this morning, 13 September 2016  and bail was denied.  Public opinion carries a lot of weight and your proactive actions helped our cause a great deal. "Individually we are but a droplet, but together we are an ocean".  We wil now close the petition as it has served its purpose.  Heartfelt gratitude from the victims, neighbours and members of the greater community.

BAIL HEARING POSTPONED UINTIL 13 SEPTEMBER - KEEP SHARING.

Today the suspects in this FARM ATTACK came up for bail and the Public Prossecuter posponed it until 13 September 2016, giving the Deterctives a chance to investigate the crime comprehensively.  Please continue your support as this unchecked violent crime affects ALL sectors of our communities.  We need to stop this as ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

UPDATE - PRESENTED TO PUBLIC PROSECUTOR

To all you wonderful people who have heeded the call and offered your support to the victims and to ALL of us who reside in the Witzenberg, a heartfelt thank you.  We have just delivered the first 532 signatures to the Public Prosecutor.  We were told that "BAIL IS HIGHLY UNLIKELY", however the suspects will only be charged on Monday 29 August and bail hearing will still be a while after that.  Whilst we, with your assistance, have made a BIG statement that "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH", we will keep the petition open until bail hearing takes place.  Please continue to spread the word.  "individually we are but a droplet, but together we are an ocean"

Dear All,

Thank you for your contribution so far.  right now we have 333 signatures and growing.  Tomorrow morning (Friday 26 August) the suspects will be charged.  We are going to present these signatures and the ones that come in overnight to the public prosecutor and let them all know that we will no longer accept this continued assault on innocent people.
