Reclaiming our land in Westenburg Ext 40

It has been a tiring journey to claim back land that was taken from the community of Westenburg without resorting to propper procedures in the form of consulting processes as outlined by Sec 152 of the Constitution of South Africa 1996. 

The land was donated to a group of people who claim that they were forcefully removed from Disteneng whith the exclusion of a lot of people in Westenburg who were for forcefully removed from Disteneng. The exclusion of Westenburg residents from this land claim is a clear indication that the land claim was based on information of false and fraudulent submissions by the so-called claimants. 

Since the community of Westenburg embarked on a fact finding mission to obtain documents relating to the land claim as well as finding clarity on what processes were followed, to this day no answers has came forth. The concerned community of Westenburg was either served with court papers and were dragged to the high Court for an interdict application against leaders of Westenburg Development Forum and the broader concerned community of Westenburg by the Polokwane municipality and other government departments who were supposed to answer and clarify the concerns of the Westenburg community. 

To this day a lot of crucial questions remains unanswered and the confusion of the land called Ext 40 is just growing bigger and bigger by the day. We hope that we will find answers one day
