FREE AND FAIR ELECTION CAMPAIGN 2022 MANIPUR

IMBALA FOUNDATION ran a social media campaign with the slogan “Free and Fair Election” for the 12th Manipur General Assembly Election held in the year 2022. The campaign began on January 18, 2022, with a post on Instagram and Facebook, as well as the creation of a WhatsApp group with over 100 supporters. In addition, a petition signed by over 80 people and providing their thoughts was successfully completed. One of those who signed the petition commented, “I’m signing this petition because I support the free will voting of leadership without influence from the candidates trying to buy people for their votes. I urge to see each and every individual using their one vote one value today for the right leader who will be the pillar of the development of our society tomorrow”. After the petition was successfully completed, the members of the foundation, Malemnganba Wahengbam, Julia Moirangthem, Paikhomba Phanjoubam, Linthoingambi Mangsatabam, Arvinchand Nongthombam, worked effortlessly on a video that received over 3400 views and became the campaign’s highlight.
