An Open Letter to all Australian Doctors of Medicine.

Dear trusted, respected Physicians of Australia,                

Australia, like much of the world, is currently in turmoil. The pandemic that initially united us all has now created the biggest divide in the history of our free, democratic nation. Average people are, en masse, justifiably concerned for their health & for that of their children, for their future, for their very lives.

Many are fearful of the aftermath of contracting SARS-CoV-2, and many are just as fearful of the only medical option being offered in Australia – the permitted vaccines.

All Australians, regardless of their beliefs or their understanding of the medical nuances of the situation, look to your profession for guidance – in the hope that as in the past, health professionals can lead us through to safety.

There are many accounts of conflicted reporting, troubling statistical oversights, bureaucratic discrepancies and, of most concern, allegations of governmental and media censorship of the medical and scientific fraternities.

These accounts are numerous, and they are world-wide.

We, the lay-people, would not presume to tell you how best to treat any illness. You are the professionals. You have the knowledge, training and intuitiveness, and you are the ones that know the case histories of your patients. We defer to your expertise and put our trust in you and your colleagues in healthcare.

We are however thoroughly angered that politicians and bureaucrats, many with little or no medical experience or qualification, would presume to do just that.

They want to call the shots now – on your behalf, and on your reputation.

Far from the time-honoured practice of MD’s conferring with their colleagues, there have been instances of doctors being threatened, disciplined and even deregistered simply for investigating any courses of action (particularly preventative or early-stage treatments) other than those dictated by administrators, or even for raising concerns about the administration’s treatment directives.

There are also countless rumours of Physicians privately alluding to a conflict of opinion – conflict between their own professional standards and sense of morality, and what they are being pressured into providing (or not providing) to patients under their care.

No alternative treatment, criticism or peer-review is being allowed.

No longer included in the diagnostic process, Doctors are being silenced. This is extremely troubling, not only for the health and safety of Australians of all ages, but also for the fabric of what we know as democracy, and for the very definition of Medical Ethics.

In times throughout history where much of the world and its practises were still very dark and savage, Physicians have been the light – illuminating a future of improved human rights and ethical medical treatment for all. First, do no harm.

We call on you to again be the light that ends darkness. We now ask you for a Second Opinion.

Based on your medical expertise, your experience as a practitioner, and on your own core beliefs, what course of action should Australians now follow?

If you solemnly believe that the best (and only) course of action is to routinely vaccinate every single man, woman and child against the virus, regardless of any side-effects or long-term repercussions, please speak up. Your voice will alleviate the concerns of many, and give us a clear plan of action.             

Are regular 6-monthly booster shots the only solution? So far, in excess of 250 million doses have been ordered for a country with a population of under 28 million. Boosters for all, it seems, are here to stay.                                     

If however your professional opinion does not support that being handed down on your behalf by government bodies, your voice is even more important to the health and safety of millions. To the entire population in fact.

There have been a significant number of public claims of: Myriad cases of severe adverse reaction to vaccines, Life-long illness or even death resulting from these reactions, Emergency departments being overwhelmed due to these reactions, Vaccine inefficacy, Governmental collusion with pharmaceutical corporations, and Significant obstacles to accurate & complete incident reporting – these claims all regularly circulate not only on social media, but also on the less-biased professional media platforms and by word of mouth. Is this what you are observing in your daily struggle to preserve life?

When any bureaucracy seeks to control the actions and thoughts of the people, disregard the normal scientific method, force unnecessary medical procedures upon the young & healthy, and to circumvent the professional & expert opinions of those that know better, it can only be known by one title: Tyranny.

Under tyrannical rule, the role of a doctor is the same as that of every person: Do as you are told, do not think, and keep your mouth shut.

Even now, in less-than-democratic regions of the world, barbaric medical practises such as forced sterilisation, organ harvesting and involuntary euthanasia are occurring with regularity, and do so occur under governmental doctrine.

For each instance of these procedures, a medical professional is likely being coerced - against their better judgement, their ethics, and their conscience - to cause harm or indeed to kill. Most of those Physicians would desperately want to end the practises they are forced to enact, but have no voice to do so.

Your voice is still audible – for the time being at least.

This example may be distinct from what is occurring in Australia at this time, but where & when does the control and censorship of the medical field end? Will there soon be a point where the noblest of professions is forced to do only that which serves the state, to the detriment of the patient?

Are numbers of COVID cases and their severity being overstated? Is there validity to claims supporting the use of other medications? Is it right that these other medications have been completely banned from use in Australia? Are the numbers of severe adverse reactions and resulting deaths being suppressed? Is the future health of our children being compromised? Are administering bodies making it exceedingly difficult for you to accurately report what you witness daily? Are agents of the media and government portraying a situation that greatly differs from what you are experiencing? Are young, healthy lives unnecessarily being destroyed?

Is your voice, your medical expertise, your integrity, your conscience being silenced?

We the undersigned ask you to be vocal in defending the health of all Australians, and indeed that of democratic Australia herself. We acknowledge that this may present challenges to you as an individual, but believe that as a united fraternity you will again be the light for a darkened nation, and perhaps for the globe.                               

We will boldly stand by your side and add our full-throated voices to your chorus. There may be government bodies that refuse to support you, and by doing so also refuse to uphold the scientific methods and ethics of modern medicine, but you will have maintained your professional integrity, your individual peace of mind, and perhaps will have saved countless lives.

You will also have the enduring support, gratitude and respect of some 27 million Australian citizens. Every man, woman and child.
