In opposition to Centre County's Responsible Contractor Ordinance

November 7th is the day to win our Commission seats!!

Good morning to all of you who had signed our petition in the past.  We have been working hard to flip our county back to 2 Republican Commissioners.  But on November 7th we need YOUR help!!  

Both current Commissioner Steve Dershem and Commissioner candidate Marie Librizzi have vowed to end the Responsible Contractor Ordinance on day one after they win the election.  

Now we need you!!  Please vote on November 7th!!  We know that life happens and sometimes you just can't get to the polls on election day.  If that may happen for you we are asking that on or before Oct 31st you request a mail in ballot and vote before November 7th or that you go in person to the elections office at the Willowbank Building in Bellefonte to vote in person.  You must either vote in person at the elections office or request your mail in ballot by Tuesday Oct 31st.   You can request a mail in ballot at Ballot Request Application (pa.gov).  This mail in ballot must be received by the elections office by 8pm on November 7th.  If you request a mail in ballot and decide that you can still vote in person, take the entire packet you receive in the mail to your polling location, and they will spoil that ballot and you can vote as you normally do.

We are asking everyone to please VOTE and remind family and friends how important local elections are!  Make sure your family and friends can get to the polls on November 7th or request a mail in ballot TODAY!!

RCO update

In front of a packed crowd who spent 2+ hours giving their testimony, Commissioners Higgins and Concepcion voted to pass the ordinance, and Commissioner Dershem voted no.  This Ordinance will be in effect 30 days after the Vote today which will be July 27, 2023.  

The meeting should be rebroadcast on CNET at a time TBD.
