Cancel of final year exams during the Covid-19 crisis

In the state of Maharashtra all the students except the final year student's exams have been cancelled.

Exams for final year students are to be held in July but

-AIIMS Director clearly stated that the war against the unseen enemy Covid -19 will be at its peak during June and July.

- Due to intra state travel ban many students will face difficulties.

-Maharashtra the state with approx 25% cases of Covid-19 in India will face a major issue with the safety against the virus with such huge student crowd.

- With the death rate more than of a flu and very high rate of transmission many parents wont even allow thier children out of their homes.

With this crisis setting up exams for final year students will be a risk element for everyone , students , faculty members and even the examination committee.

There are two ways out either to cancel exams and grade people according to thier internal assessments and previous year results or have online exams with MCQ's.
