Close wine shops during locked down 2020

Hi Guys,

From past 2 months,  we are staying at home and helping government to combat the consequences of this pandemic situation of Covid-19. I support all government decisions taken to control the situation till now . But few days before when government allowed some shops and  services to open and serve in different zones,  one thing hit me was the decision to allow wine shops to open in all zones including red zone, where the cases of Covid-19 is still increasing .

My question is - 'Are wine shops are essential stores?' ,  'Can't people stay without drinks? ' , 'Do drinks have more importance than one's life? '

People are gathering in front of wine shops to collect the stock without even maintaining any social distancing fearlessly. When government asked people to help poors around them,  except few people no one could come out of their houses and help,  why?  Because they were scared of the coronavirus or they didn't had enough money to contribute or there were lack of food to donate to the needy ones???

The answer is may be 'They didn't find donating food and helping  poor people as important thing to do rather they would go out to buy some drinks and chakhna for their home parties'.

Also,  we cannot forget the already existing cases of domestic violence in our country.  People getting drunk and creating violence on women, children is unavoidable and the decision of opening the shops may give them opportunity to do this and the hence increase in domestic violence cases increasing in the country. Plus,  people having drinks in front of children may create a negative impact on them as well.

I want y'all support to ask government to close wine shops during Locakeddown period to help in combating this pandemic situation at earliest rather people breaking social distancing and making this situation worse.

And if not , atleast proper guidlines should be imposed along with this and if these guidelines aren't followed,  strict actions should be taken against the person.

Thanks!!
