Consent on converting Single point into Multipoint electricity Connection

Dear Residents ,
This is to bring to kind knowledge that now days in newly developed multi storied societies like ours, a single point connection is provided by the UPPCL and then builder or RWA charges residents through pre paid electric meter in advance . We have observed various loopholes in electricity distribution set up. As residents we have following queries / concerns on electricity distribution and and its charges
1 Electricity distribution is not kept transparent among the residents. Builder has taken a single point connection and distributing the electricity into three areas viz, ..Residential , Commercial and Common area . We are not having any clarity on how much electricity is consumed in respective aforementioned areas.

2 Per unit price overcharged . The rate fixed by LESA and the charge collected by builder / RWA is different. Builder or RWA is charging higher than the approved rates from LESA

3 Vending charges on each recharge. This makes RWA a profit making venture rather than welfare society .

4. We are entitled for prepaid LESA connection rather than taking electricity from a middlemen like RWA or a builder.

5 Meter fix charges are overcharged.

Request every residents to look into this and raise their voice through signing  this document for multipoint connection at our society.
