D734 Gravel Road Hammanskraal to Moloto Road MUST BE CONCRETED

The D734 gravel road is so bad that international and local South African tourists have refused to visit the area which includes the Dinokeng Game Reserve, a number of world class game lodges, an internationally recognised naturist resort, caravan parks, lion parks and conference centres.

The Director of Roads for the area has agreed that this road should be high priority to be concreted but it is not even on the list of roads to be upgraded. According to the Director of Roads, there are roads on the list that do not need upgrading as much as this D734 road in his opinion.

We need the support of Dinokeng Game Reserve, the Tourism Board, government departments, the local resorts, lodges, caravan parks and individuals. Please sign this petition in order that we can show the Gauteng Provincial Roads Department that we are fed up with this gravel road.
