The animal welfare situation in Hungary IS VISIBLE
- NOT SUCCESSFUL,
NOT UNIFORM AND
- NOT SOLVED !
A CENTRALIZED state-level representation and a competent official body are required:
ANIMAL PROTECTION OMBUDSMAN AND THE LIVING POLICE.
The former: At last, data could draw attention to how low the sums earmarked for this are, increasing the magnitude and the level to deal with the problem.
The latter could be a public authority with immediate authority, as part of the police, or even with civilian actors - which is widely applied across the country. (The rejection of stricter enforcement of the proposed Penal Code should be a black stain on the conscience of the "representatives" who reject it.)
Either way: A terrible mistake that gets into the lives of animals every day!
From outrageous and disgusting atrocities, to stunning and mutilating animal housing, to daily torture and regular executions, to regular and livelihood rumors, to the condition of breeders and herbalists and their foreign trade!
Comprehensive systematic monitoring of animal husbandry conditions at national level would be minimal, although such conditions would be justified. It is appalling that, in already well-identified regions, animal torture is becoming a "fashion", a crime that is legally punishable.
Notaries are overworked, they do not have the expertise to handle these matters, and no one oversees their animal welfare work. Luckily, the police provide the scene while the animal protector goes to the animal, taking photos, gathering evidence.
Creating a PET POLICE will make this task easier, faster, and more efficient. The result of the abuse of the animal and the children is the same, in both cases they are cruel to an unprotected creature whose solution we can no longer wait for.
AGAINST countless demonstrations and media appearances: NO EFFECTIVE CHANGES, NO VICTORY NATIONAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR PROBLEM! WHY?
"MINIMUM has about 30,000 stray dogs on the streets and waits for care, which is especially significant given that an estimated 4-5 million dogs live in the country in total. they will attack you. " (survey and opinion of an international organization)
There are a couple of tens of millions of forints for decontamination, though the minimum would be 10 billion forints.
We, as taxpayers, would be happy to use our tax for this purpose, and we REQUIRE a solution to this intolerable state!
There are countless other European examples on the subject: Dutch, Polish, Turkish, Italian, Austrian, Luxembourg ..... etc.
What is the regaining government's plan for a solution? WHY WE DON'T HEAR? We don't understand WHY ARE YOU NOT ACTING? Not motivated enough?
The world is horrified at what is happening in this country!?! Is it worthy of a European country?!?
What aggressive cruelty, what indifference, what nonsense, what a meaningless hundreds of thousands of executions at a meaningless lawn farm! (about 150,000 dogs die there every year, already living in terrible circumstances)
The life of a shelter animal could be saved with a centrally accessible adoption system at NATIONAL level, or even adopted through an established Internet-based International Contact Platform! WHY does the country not have one? They don't know about the problem, don't they?
Thanks to two non-governmental foundations, animal protection education can be scattered across schools, kindergartens, but WHY DOES THIS BASE CURRENT? What is the obstacle? Especially in the countryside where this would be a daily requirement! After all, the protection, love, and respect of animals strengthen our own mental health alongside the physical.
Please support the petition by signing it if you agree with the need to address this issue BEFORE and need to be resolved and to bring it to your attention.
For the time being, it is ONLY the media publicity where we can raise our voice - unfortunately, the post of Animal Protection Ombudsman has been abolished WITHOUT solving the problem!
