Drop in centers in Ekurhuleni region demand to be back paid from April -June 2023

We Child and youth care workers , Community care givers and Social Auxiliary workers have worked for the past three months and still working but no payment are being received In Ekurhuleni region .

We have families especially children who are now serverly affect by this non payment as we have dry caboards no food ,no money .

We have people paying rent , transport fare, policies are lapsing yet we working with the community while we are broken and vulnerable.

For the past three months we borrowed money knowing that drysean ends in no time but now we are starting a new month which is July no payments but we must get to work.

What about our children are they not important yet we need to keep serving the communities we work with while our children are abused , deprived off their Rights.

We need clearity on what is the future for us Cycws,CCGs& social Auxiliary workers within the NPO sector as post are being advertised but we are not absorbed by DSD. 

Social development have failed us.
