There needs to be camera's and warning lights both ends warning other driver's of accidents. Fatal accidents can be avoided by putting things in place.

not an accident an incident.  Accidents cant be prevented but incidents have someone to blame as in today's case :/

I feel the bridge is particularly hazardous at night as there are no lights. I think lighting is a must!

there needs to be some change befor anothere accident happens and takes more lifes why not put in a hard shoulder and have one lane for driving at a low speed .

so many people saying reduce the speed limit - you have that choice - theres nothing to say that you have to do 70mph if you look in the highway code HGV's on a dual carriageway max speed is 50mph but no one is out catching the lorries doing nearly 70mph!

This road needs something doing to it there is no lights on this crossing and no hard shoulder too many accidents have happened and now two people have lost their lives far too soon. Maybe even drop the speed limit or put speed cameras on it or signs that show there has been an accident or breakdown like most dual carriageways or motorways. something really is needed to prevent anymore fatalities!

Something needs to be done!!!.... The planning for this was not thought out there are no safety measures in place !!!! 2 lives could have been saved today !!!! I drive over that bridge most days with my 10 month old daughter. It's so scary to think that it could have been us, or anyone that crosses over that bridge!!!! :-( no more lives lost!!!!!!

Maybe an emergency phone like on the motorways to inform police straight away to close bridge if someone has broke down .and maybe lower the speed limit between the brow of the bridge and the other side .

Today has been a sad tragedy that shouldn't have happened. More than camera's need to be done like overhead signs for warnings & a hard shoulder or emergency area's for people to be safe. How many more people need to suffer due to poor planning!!

Reduce to one lane on entry and exit to enable a hard shoulder to be made....average speed cameras set to 50 the length of the A249...lighting...clearer road markings.....concerns were raised and ignored before this crossing was built,....
