Skerries quarry should be open to the public to enjoy. It's a wildlife haven and I do not want to see it destroyed.

Ardlagh dump, chemicals spilled into the ground for years and years. If anyone remember that place well that's just what they are going to do to milverton quarry. They say it will only be rubble from construction well I don't think so. Ardlagh was an industrial dump if you took soil samples from the place they would evacuated skerries. My parents live only half a k from milverton and 1 k from Ardlagh this has to be stopped as how much contamination can one area take.

We need to save this wonderful amenity. It is a habitat for wildlife.

It's a disgrace to even think of doing this to such a beautiful area. You have my and my families full support!

Well done with this petition, I hope it makes the difference! It would be terrible for Skerries to lose this beautiful place to a landfill site :-(

this quarry is an extraordinary place the way it is. There is too few of such places already and plenty of other places to be used as a landfill, which would not impact a beautiful retreat for some of nature's rare species. Just leave it as it is, it's not worth destroying it for that bit of extra cash.
