The proposal to reduce the lines in Lynnwood and other roads is absolutely badly thought out. I have used public transport in several countries and never seen the situation where public transport infrastructure actually ruins traffic flow and impacts negatively on economic activity. Do the Tshwane councillors and their rocket scientist planners actually know where the University of Pretoria is? And all the businesses in the area?

To prevent a chaotic traffic situation in the East of Tshwane

Lynnwood road are one of the most used roads in Pretoria. The traffic are hectic I use the road everyday. Any change will be a disaster.

Because it is ridiculous to expect the current (and growing) number of vehicles to move along in ONLY ONE LANE!!!

Traffic already cut through Lynnwood along Rodericksweg and Kings Hihway to avoid the Lynnwood traffic. This will even cause more traffic on theses roads.

The TRT/BRT is the waste of money by the Political party in control focusing on all the wrong aspects of service delivery. A new system do not fix a old system that was maintained badly.

I live in the East and this "one" lane each way will have a mayor adverse effect on my travel time.

Because it will cause a traffic nightmare. Bad enough as it is.

I use Lynnwood road Road on a regular basis and it is already chocked with traffic at peak hours. It will be crazy to reduce the lanes and further exacerbate a dire situation

The Tshwane City Council is trying to steam roll this through in spite of heavy public opposition. Although there may be cost savings in terms of infrastructure spend, the cost to the general economy of the city will be enormous in terms of time spent in traffic. The majority of the affected persons are ratepayers! Don't forget who butters your bread, Mr Mayor et al.

Who do they think they are? FGNR is one of the few places we have left in Pta to go and find peace in nature and meet with God in a nature environment to get out of this rush of the modern world. I think who ever is making this decision is stupid and only thinks of theirselves and want to feed their stupid ego. Only idiots makes stupid decisions like this ...

The traffic as it is, is of such congestion already and will be worse with a lane sacrificed for a bus.

Lane reduction is not practical for already congested streets. Proper roads need to constructed.

Reduction of traffic lanes will add to congestion.

Students, scholars and all working people using those roads must now be inconvenienced for a bus that who is going to use? and is never on time or that your are lucky if it pitches at all.

I signed, this petition because the existing designated lines are not open to all formalised public transport. Currently these lines are open and quiet!

THE LANE REDUCTION WILL HAVE A NEGATIVE EFFECT ON TRAFFIC FLOW AND ON MY BUSINESS AS WE USE THIS ROAD TO EFFECT DELIVERIES TO CLIENTS THROUGHOUT THE DAY.

I use these roads on a daily basis as we live in the area directly involved (Lynnwood Glen).
