I despise looking at these ugly atrocities when I come into ER. It makes our neighbourhood look like a slum

This is a blighted long abandoned project that has created a safety and health hazard in our community for years now.

As a young life long resident of Eagle Rock much of the arbitrary development of lots in town (especially on main streets) for more Apts and high occupancy living spaces get under my skin a bit. It's even more irritating that someone who chose to develop this site abandoned it and left us to deal with it while they develop some other empty lots into money making apt complexes.

I hope to see this turned into something beneficial to the community- a garden of shade vegetables, herbs and plants perhaps? I eagerly await news on this plot.

Please help us get rid of this eyesore in our lovely town.

I feel that in its current state, it is an eyesore, a liability hazard and a nuisance. I think that land and area can be transformed into something else that can become an asset to the community and give the community a sense of pride. I grew up in Eagle Rock for the first 18 years of my life and want to see this happen.

I grew up in Eagle Rock and have been concerned about this poorly built, partial construction for years. Eagle Rock deserves better.

The property which is mentioned in this petition is an eyesore for the community I live in and the owners of this property should not be allowed to leave it the way that it is. They should lose the rights to the property to the city if they abandoned their project. Leaving it the way that it is should not be legal or allowed.

I've spent quite a bit of time in charming Eagle Rock
over the years, visiting my daughter & family. We have walked by, driven by & viewed 'Pillarhenge'
from every angle. There have always been questions regarding this monstrosity & why it is allowed to remain a blight & danger to this community. Time to get rid of it!

Beautify Eagle Rock by getting rid of an eye-sore

I live right around the corner from this eyesore! I have often worried about the safety of, not only the house above, but those of us down below. What's to happen should/when we have an earthquake?? I'm sure ONE or MORE of those pillars will come crashing down, on pedestrians, cars.....SAFETY HAZARD, EYESORE. ACCOUNTABILITY, is why I signed the petition!

After several years of abandonment this property has become a real eyesore, and a dangerous situation with homeless people living in it.

I live in Eagle Rock and would love to see this space turn into something beautiful!

It is always great to have a community involvement that corrects a terrible and unsafe situation. Glad I finally signed this.

How many reasons?
1. My neighbors home is right above it and at huge risk of loss of life and property in a decent sized seismic event let alone heavy rainy season!
2. Rather unsavory characters sneak in to do drugs, sometimes even sex ( evidenced by used needles and condoms) and use it as an open air toilet sans plumbing!
3. The coyotes like it as a safe haven before and after they prowl our neighborhood for some new fresh cat to eat and feed their litter in spring
4. It's a gigantic visual eyesore - the first thing seen from the fwy off ramp of Eagle Rock
5. It goes without saying it lowers property value nearby...

This situation is a disgrace to living in a community respectful of others. (It's like a child who doesn't put his toys away after playing.)

I need a safe place for my children in the neighborhood

Because Pillarhenge is a blight on our lovely community. Let's use this space to enrich the community.

How did this mess get so bad? The City of Los Angeles has failed the community of Eagle Rock and needs to make it right.

Because I would like to see it turned into a children's park

I am a proud Eagle Rocker and this abandoned sight is a plight on our community. You made a commitment many years ago to this project. Only cowards turn tail and run from a commitment.

I grew up in Eagle Rock and want to see it go back to the beautiful town it used to be.
