#72011-04-18 05:29Kawawa naman tayo. Napaka dali nating makalimot. Yes, we were taught to forgive and forget as Christians. We forgive those people who took advantage of us, the Filipino People; but, huwag naman nating gawing "HERO" si Macoy. That is adding insult to injury. |

#82011-04-18 05:43Let's get the facts straight. The Marcoses did wrong, had never acknowledged it nor repented for it, and in fact continues to enjoy a privileged life. Let us not deepen our national stupidity by placing him where he does not belong. Let Justice be served! |

#132011-04-19 18:33Marcos is the father of systematic plundering of gov't coffers in our country. He destroyed many of our cherished institutions, and up to now our country & people are still suffering from the Marcos scourge of massive, unconscionable plundering of the people's money & our country's wealth. Up to now his widow and children have been exerting all efforts to block gov't efforts to recover Marcos's plundered wealth, and have been using their stolen money to get back to power. |

#202011-04-26 07:49If the Aquinos could never do anything decisively on this, dapat lang, tayong sambayanan, we should take decisive action. Hinayaan natin si Cory about the Marcoses after we all joined together to say, "No more!". Yun pala, since malamya ang pagpaaalis sa kanila, we continue to be hounded by these ridiculous but appalling efforts. This time, let us join hands and hearts again to say with finality that Marcos and the rest of his family and cronies are thieves of the nth degree; that they do not have honor, not any of them! So none of them deserves a place among true heroes. |

Not necessarily. But we do need to teach them our history and communicate to them properly how it was then, what happened after so that they may understand the present and make good decisions for the future. That is what I do with my son, my nieces and any one else basta mapag-usapan ang related matters. Even more so pag election time or tuwing may senate hearings or when we listen to the news everyday. Speak up! Tell the children the truth! |

Petition In Support of the Disbarment of Matt Gaetz
January 11, 2021 ADDENDUM TO BAR COMPLAINT: On or about December 20, 2020, I filed a bar complaint against attorney Matt Gaetz for his role in an attempt to subvert a free and fair election, in abrogation of his oath of office, as a waste of valuable court resources, filed in bad faith and without any basis in the law. Since that time, much has transpired. Rather than being chastened in his comportment, on or about January 6, 2021 (and in the days leading up to that date) Mr. Gaetz made se

Don't make an Environmental Disaster Worse, Demand a Full Environmental Impact Report!
We, residents of the City of Long Beach, demand that our elected officials represent and protect us by requiring a full Environmental Impact Report (EIR) at 3701 Pacific Place Project (the former Golf Learning Center southwest of Crown Point, across from Los Cerritos Park and Elementary School). We object to the City prematurely allowing the developer to grade the site and move 50,000 tons of soil, given that this was formerly a toxic waste dumpsite. The soil has been shown to contain lead and a

Oppose Attacks On Free Speech And Assembly
Recently filed legislation in the Florida House & Senate (SB 484 & HB 1) would place restrictions on citizens’ ability to protest social injustice through criminalization of civil disobedience and the right to peaceably assemble. The legislation, proposed by Governor Desantis in response to Black Lives Matter protests, would: Make blocking traffic a felony; Prosecute groups that organize or fund so-called “disorderly” protests; Penalize cities that seek to reduce excessive police budgets
