Yes! It is a great idea and I will use it daily!

The building is actually located in the suburb of Islington not Maryville. It may impact on developmental applications (fine print to avoid delays with Council) and insurance if it is incorrectly referred to as being in Maryville. And it seems you have completely avoided using the Islington word/community altogether. I am a proud Islington resident and reside in Islington. If you are trying to be chic by suggesting that Soque Apartments are in Maryville then you've lost my vote/petition. By omitting Islington, you're being disrespectful to this great diverse neighbourhood.

This sounds fabulous. I'm a barista and I live in the building. If there are job openings, I'll be all over them.

It's an easy mistake to make :) . Across the other side of Milford Street is Wickham and at the north end of Milford St is where Maryville starts so the Soque apoartments are right in the corner of the suburb. It is funny how some people still have negative connotations of Islington though. I have a girl mate who tells friends I live in Wickham and I live in Islington. Doesn’t bother me at all though. Bring on the coffee's!!

Well, I guess its on the border, but whatever the suburb, if I can get a delicious espressos walking distance from my house, I'll be there with bells on!

Good luck with the DA process!

I love the idea. I live in the building and was always hoping the "shop" would get turned into a cafe. I just hope you open early enough for all us early leavers to grab a coffee on the way to work.

A coffee shop in the area is exactly what the area needs for both residents and businesses.

I work around the corner in The Avenue and a coffee shop would be great.

Wow, may I suggest your are over-thinking this suburb border thing?! It could have just been a typo, or an administration error. Whatever the case...why is a community forum discussion about a tiny coffee shop a bad thing? Be positive :) I live and work in Wickham/Maryville/Iso and would LOVE a cute little coffee shop to visit on my walk to work in the mornings.

#11 Tea for me?

As a non-coffee drinker (yes, there are a few of us around)is there any chance for other hot beverages (tea and hot chocolate) to make it onto the menu?
