My goal keeps on going up every week and is now 600 points.. If I don't do a Parkrun its impossible to reach my goal! This is demotivating!

The new system has excluded many devices and many events. It also makes it impossible for people with any health or fitness issues or simply starting out to get points.

Targets and HR are not achievable or healthy and result in injury. It doesnt take different circumstances into account and dictate me how to excercise.

Totally unrealistic expectations. Very few people will achieve this. Maybe this is what Discovery wants???

I am happy but the criteria are not fair and cannot be changed indiscriminately

I don't agree with Discovery changing the requirements for earning points just a few months into the apple watch programme.

It is impossible to carve out so much time to reach goals that are getting towards being unrealistic. Not everyone is a personal trainer in gym every day. So many people just giving up now, even those who are quite fit.

Discovery are crooks. I took the Apple watch offer as their original required goals looked reasonable. However once in it they changed the rules 2 months later and now it is almost impossible to achieve the goal every week of the month, so I have to pay most of the Apple payment. I am fit and my heart rate is low. If I would change my training program to achieve the acquired very high heart rate Discovery wants, it would have a negative effect on my health and my sport. Their one size fits all heart rate program is rediculous and irresponsible. #discoverymustfall #discoveryheartratemustfall

The Vitality reward system is greatly flawed. When sending complaints or suggestions to Vitality the response is a generic email. You can't use the same formula for every person trying to keep fit.

I am running 5/6 days per week for Comrades with 3 gym visits a week, and I can not reach the 600 point total because they limit the points you can earn per day (only a single workout session per day is counted) plus I only earn 100 points for a 15km run in 1h15, while if I walked a park run i can earn 300 points?

My goals are now almost perpetually unattainable- I was meeting them consistently and seeing results! Now I'm demotivated because to meet the goals is a struggle!!

Discovery promoted this Apple watch to me via their website and via my broker. I bought into it. The watch doesn't work properly. Nor did a replacement watch. Discovery also changed the goal criteria. I was able to achieve the original goals with a watch that worked. I cannot achieve the new goals with a watch that doesn't work. I want out.

don't change the rules during the game

Discovery Vitality unilaterally changed its rewards structure to only award heart rate zones. As a person with a genetically low heart rate, I cannot meet these goals. Discovery has therefore removed my means of meeting their goals, and expect me to bear the financial burden of their decision by paying for my Apple Watch.

how on earth can a company as large as Discovery Vitality have the law on their side to change their rules as they see fit.

Why is it that Vitality up our points without any prior notification or reason therefor? Perhaps the chapter on "managing a customers expectations" didn't make their training manual. More and more I am finding their vitality app to be like a bone that loses its cartilage... a progressive uncomfortable pressure!

Discovery Vitality Active Rewards has just moved my goal to 800 points for the week. I cannot achieve this without some expensive device. I only have access to Virgin Active Gym - which means if i go every day to gym -- which I did last week. This will give me 7x100 points =700 points Maximum!!!!

How i am supposed to get 800 points. Very few people will achieve this. Maybe this is what Discovery wants???

Unhappy and ready to give up on them after being with them over 8 years :( :(

Discovery increased by goal to 1000. I cannot reach more than 900. 6 x more tah 1000 steps a day and 1 x Parkrun. I disconnect my Fitbit and stopped the Parkruns. My goal is stuck at 1000 per week. I hope that someone that accept the Apple watch deal sues Discovery !!!!!!

Discovery lied to everyone to get them on board. Once they had them, they are now struggling to pay them the rewards they promised. So Discovery put new rules in place to prevent participants achieving the goals and winning the rewards. Discovery has not put money where mouth is, they are cowardly
