Traffic moves along this road at high speed even with the rumble strips. This has not slowed the traffic down. It is very difficult to cross into Rietvlei and why wait for a tragedy to happen before making it safer for the children and all who use Rietvlei

That road is a death trap for the children coming out of the school as well as the walk on a Sat morning is going to cause a huge accident and lives are going to be lost!! PLEASE!!!

I go past there regularly and despite the speed reduction to 60 and the rumble strips there are idiots roaring past at 120

My daughter attends the school situated at Rietvlei, along with many of our friends - we want safety to be a priority for everyone's sake and benefit and by having traffic lights installed there, would achieve that.

This is a dangerous road and children are being transported in and out. The speed limit does not work, nobody adheres to it and I have never seen a speed trap there. A robot will slow traffic down and enable folk to safely enter and leave Rietvlei

I drop off and pick up my child and am nervous every time I need to cross the intersection as the cars come speeding from both directions. Safety of all needs to be a priority here.

I no even a parent of both schools, but travel that road frequently and make use of the grounds of Rietvlei for leisure. It's a nightmare to get in or out of there entrance into Swartkoppies road. It's a no brainier that a robot is needed.
