I have stayed in Plaka twice and also gone across to Spinalonga and it's lovely as if is and its a shame when people try to change and sincerely hope your petition is successful and good luck

There are enough commercialized resorts if people want them in Crete. Plaka is traditional idyllic Crete - let it stay like it

Plaka is a place I visit every time I stay in Elounda and my wife and I love this place.it is very beautiful and should stay just as it is.

Beautiful village. It's identity should be preserved. The beach should be available to all.

My husband and I lived in Elounda almost three years and love the area and the authenticity of the place. We have been back twice while on vacation. Let's keep the beaches clear.

Plaka is a beautiful village, which changes every year. Its time to prevent the accessibility of its beaches being denied to all.

I love Plaka - I had the great pleasure of having had two very special birthday's there and have spent many, many years swimming in that exquisite sea! It is one of the most beautiful places on earth and it would break my heart if I could no longer go there. I was already devastated to see that we can no longer go down to Driros Beach either - come on guys - you don't own the world! WE do!

I have visited this area of Crete for many years. Plaka is a unique and beloved spot and I would hate to think that glorious little beech would be appropriated and privatised! It's just greed and must be stopped!

I first walked to Plaka along the cliffs many years ago and found it idyllic...anything that serves to destroy somewhere like this would be utterly criminal. There is no need to mess up everything in the name of tourism.

I love Plaka as it is, or was 15 years ago.

Because I frequent Elounda and my favourite place to visit and eat is Plaka you must not change anything about this picturesque village.

Plaka is special. It's already a long way from the original village. Don't spoil it any more. Keep it authentic and special. A haven of peace and tranquillity. Please. Please

To save what's left of Crete's fast diminishing natural beauty.
