As a wildlife lover and photographer I believe Kimberley needs to have this wonderful reserve preserved forever. Mining even a small section of the reserve will be devastating and will permanently destroy both fauna and sensitive flora.

Kimberley has more history per square centimetre than any other city has per square kilometre in South Africa, and now some money-grubbing company wants to destroy it all for the sake of filthy lucre.

Geld kan nie die natuur en diere koop nie en n myn is net nog n verwoesting van die natuur met die prag en wat gaan van al die mooi diere en veral die eksotiese voels daar raak

No mining venture has ever completely rehabilitated or recovered the area affected by mining and Rooifontein will be devastated if this goes ahead

It is a very popular Game and Nature Reserve within the Kimberley boundaries that is of significant Historical interest. This is very relevant to the history of Kimberley

So many forests, oceans and wildlife habitat is being destroyed and threatened by humans taking over. Why must the greed for money (diamond digging) invade this beautiful farm and disturb the wildlife that has been there for many years. There are more than enough other suitable areas around where these greedy people can satisfy their need for money. Please leave Rooifontein Farm alone!

For the love of the beautiful ,tranquil ,quiet ,peaceful ,get-away place and the love of nature which would all be ruined by mining activities - No beauty ,no tranquility ,no peace ,no wildlife. People have ruined enough of nature to the point that there aren't much of these kind of places left.
