I am 41 it's taken me 10 years to get to my final year and now this, I too couldn’t afford tertiary education, so I went to work full time and study part time, that's what you do when you can't afford something you make an alternative plan not damage and threaten people. 10 years I WANT TO FINISH

The rights of students who want to study, advance and make progress are being violated. What about our rights to not protest, why must we be the silent victims.

I signed this petition because I want to finish my academic year and graduate next year, if this continues my parents cannot afford to pay for me and my bursary won't pay if I have to finish this year next year.

Just as these idiots have a so called right to protest ...have the other students a right to study and lectures to complete their studies....many of whom work to pay their way.

I agree that unlawful actions should not be tollerated to the disadvantage of students who understands why they are at university. It is time to identify the bullies and suspend them for life from any tertiary education.

This needs to end. Some of us are looking at the finishing line. It's painfully jeopardizing our future.

These protests need to stop. It's a long term issue and does not have a short term solution. Why impede the students that need to finish the academic year

If the year gets suspended due to these protests, then what was the point of the whole Academic year anyway?

Because I feel like it's very unfair to protest at this particular time of the year, we delaying the process of the exams. As much I'm in solidarity with the fellow students but I feel that the protest should not affect our academic schedules

Because it is unjust not to provide the students with a safe & secure environment to study especially since they pay a lot of money for the university .

Our children has the right to finish their studies as we have student loans that we are accountable for. The majority of children/adults have worked hard to achieve good marks and deserve answers as why they have to forfeit their hard work in 2016 and must go back in 2017 to start their year again. This after the year end exams are upon them and they really worked hard to be able to write their final exams. This is UNACCEPTABLE and may lead to many students protesting against going back in 2017 to redo the previous year and this may lead to sivil claims against the institution. PLEASE do something in order for our children to finish their year end exams!!!!
