Thanks Hunter. Has there been any discussion with the HOA about installation of a time lapse camera system? The gate has an element of this, as does the speed sign, though those are both speed triggered.

I would suggest that the City post signs requiring permit authorized parking only within one mile of the park. Residents get free permit stickers so their guests can park on the street near their homes when visiting. Those who park on the street without permit stickers get ticketed and fined. This benefits both residents and the City because it limits the number of park attendees and cars while generating revenue for the City from the fines. Once the parking lot is full, visitors will have to leave or park more than a mile away and walk to the park. They have used this solution in many of the high traffic areas in Los Angeles. Ever visited Sunset Strip? You can't park on the street without getting ticketed. It works!
