Grew up with the Tavern being part of my.life. Friday after DHS football, get togethers with friends. Everytime I go home it is a must stop. Please keep our memories alive. Keep community business alive.

Ate there tonight! Sad to see Patsy crying. It is difficult to find a source of income and a home for a family. Come on - don't make them move from a place that has so much family tradition.

A business that pays it's bills in business over 100 years should not be forced to close or move. I feel that is it disrespectful to the community to uproot a business because someone powerful bought the location and wants to evict them. Look just a few blocks to the west and see the future of this location will become. During the Christmas season, I hope the landlord can find it in his heart to have a change of heart and allow this beloved business to continue. If not, it will become like Pottersville in the movie It's a Wonderful Life.

I can't believe the tavern would disappear! I was in shock when I saw that yesterday. I come once in a while, not a regular client, but each time I have family or friends visiting from France, I take them there as we visit the nearby plantation. It is such a landmark, so unique, with good food and friendly people! I really hope there is a way to protect this family business.

What a mistake to mess with such a wonderful piece of history. This tavern is St. Rose. I don't get it. Leave things as they are in the hands of the Eflers..

The St Rose Tavern is a historic monument to the area, my father and mother used to have dinner, go to dances and just recently we attended a funeral dinner there. Many movies like Monster Ball were filmed there. coming from the entertainment industry I would like an opportunity to present it for many more movies and hope to generate more income for them if they leave it as it is.
