I feel that's it's unfair to us riders to have to turn to the side of the road now it allways has been for bikes and other riding machines and I feel we should get it back

It's very disappointing to hear that they are trying to close the Trans Canada Trail in the CBS area that's used for atv riding all across Newfoundland and Labrador. If this close happens I hope that there is a throughfare put in place to accommodate the riders who are accessing areas past this closure.

I understand peoples concerns and frustrations with the open use of this trail but a total ban on atv's isn't the way to go. If everyone took the time to educate the inconsiderate speeders and give them an ultimatum current problems could be overcome. Respect and courtesy should enable everyone to enjoy this trail to the fullest.
Once you start banning here where does it stop ?

I have signed this petition, because a closed Railway bed in CBS can lead to a closed Railway bed in Port Aux Basque.

they took away the rights of smokers that pay a lot of money in taxes and make us go outside for a smoke. Now they want to take away our railbed so the walkers can enjoy the sights of the short distance they walk. its time to take a stand for motorized machines and let mayor McDonald take a new look at this, instead of blaming past mayors.

I purposely bought a house in CBS because I could use my quad on the trail way. There is no reason why everyone shouldn't be able to use the trail

It's already barred off at Easson's Rd across from Manuel's Irving. And locked gates are up.

If people with licenses knew how to put down their phone while driving maby the walkers can walk on the road without eyes in the back of their head and bikes could go on the track. Time for the cops to find out what the real problem is and let the poor bikers use the track. They don't pay thousands for the rig to put in the shed and look at

I moved to C.B.S partly because it offered a place to use my ATV legally from my home for hunting, fishing or just going for a ride when I want. To close the railway bed to ATV's here in C.B.S when it is accessible to ATV's across the province is just wrong. The railway has been used by ATV's since the trains stopped running, what right does this group of people have to stop their use now?
