Barriers to education- See the person not the offence

My dad showed me this petition after me saying how I wanted to take my similar story further. It's been 8years since I was last in trouble by the police. I have a few charges for breech of the peace and public order acts when I was a teenager, however I also have theft and causing danger to users on the road. The story behind this is I took a cone from tesco car park and flung it on a road under the influence of alcohol. This has done me over big time. After achieving top marks on my btec health and social care and also gaining 80% with the distinctions on an access to health proffesions - when I apply for uni the door gets slammed in my face. I am a mother of 2 now trying my hardest but feel as soon as I declare these convictions they use an excuse that my grades are the reason I get unsuccessful 4years in a row. The true extent of this convictions are truly catching up with me now. Good luck
