Help Ballou Ward 8 Kids

Calling all Ballou Alumni's!!!!!!!! I am in need of your help...Ballou is in need of your help!!!! I need help getting a petition going to have more staff added to our school. Ballou receives between 3-5 enrollees /DAY! The budget they received is for 655 students but they currently have 810 student. As a result, staff and students alike are suffering which ultimately results in dropouts and staff not being able to give the help needed. They are not equipped to do so!!! What good is the building if what's on the inside is not sufficient, efficient or productive. Our kids stand outside in the cold for an hour to get in through security because they are under staffed. Mind you the majority of them walk, stand at bus stops still out in the cold. Then when they get to school they have to be out in the cold even more. There are a handful of kids who act like animals but the vast majority actually want something out of life and want to be treated like human beings!!!! Please!!!!! Anyone who knows what to do, where to go to get some help on these current matters I'd greatly appreciate it. I work with staff to determine their needs as well as students.Please sign to have DCPS add more funds for staffing to the budget.
