Improve Working Conditions for MrD Drivers!

We call out to all MrD drivers/ independent contractors Bloemfontein branch to participate in this petition to bring about positive change in our professional environment. This petition aims to help us resolve the following issues:

1-TOXIC MANAGEMENT: Drivers are constantly threatened and intimidated by management and office staff.

2- MrD Bloemfontein office refuses to give drivers copies of their signed contracts (even upon request).

3-New unfair rules are introduced and forcefully implemented as pleased.

4- Drivers pay vehicle insurance that they are not policy holders of (when asked for proof Bloemfontein office gives drivers documents typed by themselves). People who have tried claiming from this insurance have been rejected.

5- Weekend rates have been reduced even though the cost of living has increased. 

6- What drivers are being paid is inconsistent with the rates communicated by the office.

7- Drivers with criminal records (minor offenses) are fired, but the parcel department is managed by someone who has a criminal record. Said manager also intimidates and threatens drivers constantly.

These are some of the major issues which negatively affect drivers. Improving these issues means that drivers will be happier, less stressed, more motivated to work and will be able to make better profits from the food delivery industry.
