KEEP THE EDMONTON HAPPY WALL

1EE0A9BA-0D7A-49DB-910E-C2F47B713127.jpegThe Happy Wall had originally been set for a year, but it has made many locals and tourists smile. It was officially the FIRST ever Happy Wall in Canada! This is part of our home. The original idea was to distract pedestrians strolling by from the construction being done behind it. However, I believe it should remain in Sir Winston Churchill Square. This wall has brought smiles and joy among many peoples’ faces. I like to view the messages on the wall through Rose-coloured glasses. Many people have written inappropriate things but that does not mean there haven’t been many, many more positive messages written among that wall. We need to notify the Edmonton Arts Council that this is part of our community, family, and home. Let’s try to save the wall together!!!!
