Overcharging water bill

Hello everyone, I'm Cody and I'm doing this petition to raise the awareness and to rectify this problem which has been plaguing the residents of lumberton for years! 

Just to sum up my own billing, my average bill has been 2k gallons of water. Which is what the city has as a minimum. Rarely it will be 3k gallons. However, has never been any higher.

Just recently, December 13th 2021 the city of lumberton had yet another leak in the water line. As we all know the dreaded boil notice comes with this alongside higher Bill's. 

December 27th 2021, the city of lumberton took a meter reading from my house, and it stated I used 5k gallons of water, (meter reading, 61-66)  which is false. The city must flush the lines after the water breakage and that is what I believe they are charging me for!

NOW ONTO THE NEXT

December 28th 2021, I notice just after trying to brush my teeth, my pipes started bubbling/burping and water began coming up from the drains. I assumed there was another problem in the city, so I gave it 2 days to fix itself. On the second day I reported to my wards alderman about this issue, because I couldn't shower or use the toilet. I then had a plumber come and dropped over 100ft of snake line, and he determined my pipes were absolutely fine, that the city had an issue. The next day, a city worker (butch) opened a man hole cover and determined there was no issue.  The following day, I found the flush out for the sewer in front of my neighbour's property, and as I peered inside I notice it was plugged. I reported this issue again to my alderman and his responses both days were, "if you dont like it or you keep having problems just move away" 

Jumping ahead to today, now I have still yet to use the water in my home for the last week, I show up to the city hall to pay the water bill and was surprised to find that 66 reading-5k gallons used. After a bunch of bickering, I now find out that today, January 3rd my meter is now reading 69.9 almost 70. So magically I've used 3k gallons already and I've not even ran water at my home.
