Pay stipend to the physiotherapy interns who are giving covid duty in corona wards for free, risking their life without even getting a single cent. Its a matter of concern.

In order to get our degree, BPT graduates have to undergo 6 month internship in hospitals. While MBBS and nursing graduates are getting paid stipend in their internship period, BPT graduates have been doing their internship for free and they even have to pay some amount charged by the hospital as a training amount. 6 month free work. We have become "Free labour" for the hospitals. 

During this second wave of Corona when doctors are dying and getting infected, people aren't getting beds, injections, medicines and oxygen cylinders. We are doing free duty in Corona wards without even a travelling allowance. Risking our lives as well as other people who are living with us, that too all for free. 

Government and hospitals aren't even providing us any medical cover. If we get infected or worse die., who is going to pay for all the loss?! 

It's my humble request to the concerned authorities to please provide us some stipend along with all the other necessities you're providing to your regular staff.
