Petition for a Crime and Corruption Commission Investigation into the misuse of public resources to perpetrate and perpetuate an illegal war 'on drugs' on the Australian Public

An online petition seeking support and signatures for a Crime and Corruption Commission Investigation into the misuse of public resources (billions a year) used to continue an ongoing and unending illegal war on australian citizens. The resources wasted a year and the damage done to people and the community is without justification and the majority of police powers and resources are used to make life harder for australian citizens and extort and jail them with little consideration. The majority of people in jail in QLD for drug use are there for Marijuana and more people are charged in Qld a day than every other state combined. We lead the country and world in extorting people with substance needs (even medicinal users) and these dangerous and damaging laws will not change unless we demand it. There are substance abuse problems in our communities (not just for illicit drugs) however declaring war on them helps nobody and the resources wasted could me much better spent offering solutions and support in our communities. This war has been going for over 50 years (australias longest war) and has no end in sight and the money wasted and damage done is staggering. Its time to end this criminal war on recreational, religious, cultural and medicinal users of drugs outlawed by the Therapeutic Goods Administrator. The most pharmaceutical captured regulator in the world that is 97% funded by big pharma and does not support organic or none pharma substances. If this issue affects you or people you care about please sign this petition so we can pressure the lawmakers to make laws fit for purpose!!!
