Remove cannabis laws in Merafong In order to create an environment that'll allow the local community to learn how to cultivate and prepare for the Cannabis industry that will be introduced in Gauteng

  This petition is a plea to the Government of Gauteng Province and Local Municipality of Merafong City, a plea to request the removal of all cannabis laws in the local area so that the community can get a chance to learn how to cultivate and harvest cannabis while preparing for the cannabis industry which Gauteng Premier David Makhura mentioned in his State of Province Address back in the 22nd of February 2020. The Gauteng Premier mentioned the cannabis industry as one of the key sectors that our economy will invest in.

The community of Merafong can use this opportunity as a headstart towards an inevitable future venturing into the cannabis industry. There are people who are not well educated on this plant and the success of this petition will allow these people to get well informed about this plant. Please sign the petition especially if you're from Merafong which is Carletonville, Fochville, Khutsong, Wedela, Kokosi, Blyvoor, Elandsrand, Welverdiend, Blybank, Greenspark, Deelkraal and other small surrounding areas - imagine all this land for cultivation, it could create so many jobs for the local community so please look at the bigger picture.. if you need inspiration please do some research about the cannabis industry of America, in just 4 - 6 years the industry is worth Billions of dollars with over a thousand companies that are cannabis related..
