MAHE Students Hostel Grievances

MAHE administration has just instated a new rule for hostels: every resident must sign a register each night no earlier than 10 pm.

curfew time is 11:30 pm for all hostels and Caretakers must check our rooms if we do not sign.

As most of us have bedtimes earlier than that owing to the stressful study schedule, this has proven to be an inconvenience for everyone involved. Disturbed sleeps, unwarranted warnings and general hatrasment has followed suit.

No such rule existed before and since it was first only instated in girls hostels at first, it also appears to be smeared with sexism and moral policing.

keeping up with our degrees and general stress is hard enough and this new rule has only added to our stress.
We request the Administration to look into this new rule and give an ear to our grievances.

PLEASE REPEAL THIS RULE!
