Reviving American Way Park

We the members and associates of Shekinah Glory Church are rallying to update and revitalize American Way Park. This park have been neglected way to long. There are no play equipment for the youth to enjoy and the swings there are outdated. There  is gang graffiti on the walls which to their credit since we contacted the media they tried to correct. The bathrooms have been sealed and are not workable and the stinch is unbearable. Condoms were found as well as other trash which since we notified the media they have attempted to appease us but that's just putting a bandaid on an open wound. The Neighborhood have to travel, if they have the means, a few miles to enjoy a decent park for their kids to enjoy. Hopefully by us uniting as a whole we can make a change and bring Life back into this Community.
