Save Doctors of tomorrow!

We are MBBS final year students from KD medical college, hospital and research centre, mathura (up)
On 17/7/2020, we received our internal exam (not final exam) schedule which has been attached in this petition. The notice addresses that the classes will be rescheduled from 20/07/2020 and the exams are to be started from 25/07/2020.
Since all this is happening at the peak of pandemic where IMA has already observed community transmission , so, we students are requesting for online exam instead of offline.

We have several problems from the given notice that are mentioned below:

1. As per the University order, offline classes are already suspended and hence taking internal examination (pen and paper mode) makes no sense.
2. students are ordered to get back to the college by 20/07/2020 along with a corona negative report. But, in such a short notice, students are finding it difficult to get the report in this short period of time.
3. There are students who live in different states, some of which are under lockdown, are unable to book trains or flights, therefore reaching hostel in time is impossible.
4. Some Students live in severly covid affected states such as delhi and Maharashtra, which is exposing other students to the infection.
5. We came to our home during holi holidays and lockdown wasn’t foreseen hence many of us didn’t bring their books, so, appearing for the exam right after reaching back to the hostel with the only knowledge that we gained during online class is very less.
6. Practicals couldn’t be conducted in hospitals because there are only covid patients
7. One of the most important thing for travellers is Quarantine, but, from the notice, it is clear that students have to immediately join the class without quarantine.
