Sale Sunday Variety Charity Market

Our Sunday Market has been running for 43 and a half years.

We do a different charity every month and raise money for these charities with our food tent and van.

We are a wholly independent voluntary group.

For reasons known only to the council they have decided that we no longer need to be here at the reserve (port of sale on punt lane)

but want the market to move to the back of the Library / art centre

This area is totally inappropriate for the markets needs ( to small and lack of parking for stall holders and customers.)

So we are asking people to sign this petition in support of the market staying at the reserve. Where we have been for many years.

            We have heard comments from a counsellor                      that the market is only temporary anyway.

We would of thought that a market that has been around for as long as we have would be considered more then temporary and have the support of the local council.

Please help us and the charities we support.
