I look for the special greeting every time I walk in there...not Walmart without Robbie

(Danbury, 2017-12-01)

#405

He is a great guy. I used to drive the bus that took him 5 yrs ago. He loves his job. He cant help the fact he had no transport to work. He has to in his chair secured to the floor to transport.

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#406

HE IS AN INCREDIBLE PERSON. THEY ARE SO WRONG FOR FIRING HIM

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#411

Even though I do not live there, I do shop Wal-Mart here. Originally Wal-Mart had a soul. What happened to it? I will be sharing this and watching the results. Corporate should get involved if local won't remedy the situation. There is always my favorite number 1(800) Wal-Mart for customer complaints.

(Hobbs, 2017-12-01)

#412

I've known Robbie for over 30 years. I first met him when I took a teaching job in Danbury in 1979. He's always been a very pleasant upbeat person with a dedication to his job and family.

(Lake Jackson, 2017-12-01)

#416

Walmart was so wrong!

(Montgomery, 2017-12-01)

#417

ridiculous. they never should’ve fired him.

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#419

I don't believe that he didn't call in!

(Damon, 2017-12-01)

#420

Robbie deserves better then this. Wal Mart should be ashamed of themselves.

(Rosharon, 2017-12-01)

#426

(cut off, 2017-12-01)

#427

He deserves his job back.

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#429

Even though i no longer live in the area- i remember walking in to this store often & having Robbie greet me- to fire him for this offence is outrageous. He has given years of service to the area and deserves better treatment. IF he hadn’t called in, why had not somebody called to check on him????

(From Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#430

He deserved to get back to Walmart.

(Danbury, 2017-12-01)

#432

It was wrong to fire this man. Give him back his job

(Sweeny, 2017-12-01)

#433

I feel he did not get treated fairly. And was not given a chance to explain.
I feel it is discrimination on his handicapped position

(Angleton , 2017-12-01)

#434

I have known Robbie almost all of his life. He is a good person & needs this job. He is a faithful worker & always meets people with a smile, that makes them feel good. He is a very special man & I promise if you don't give his job back you will definitely loose business, lots more than it will take to pay him

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#435

I have known Robbie for many years . He has been a great employee , always greeting customers with a smile no matter how he is feeling . No one deserves this kind of treatment especially a long time an very loyal employee give this man his job back . Shake my head what are we coming to when we fire someone over a situation he had no control over an you all know good an well he called in . WAKE UP PEOPLE WE ALL HAVE CAR TROUBLE .

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#436

I grew yoo in angleton and Robbie has always been the sweetest most helpful person and e done chords through thing's and he did the right thing by letting them know im sure a company of that size and being a tenured employee they could have worked with him. He didn't deserve this at all.

(Alvin, 2017-12-01)

#439

He deserves so much better then this , he works so hard in everything he does.

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#440

It seems a bit unfair to not follow progressive discipline after 22 years of service. Termination is the most severe & typically the last step. I don't know all details involved but do know Walmart does not currently appear empathetic at all.

(Angleton , 2017-12-01)

#442

I will miss seeing him at Walmart! He makes my day brighter! I don’t believe he should have been fired!

(Angleton, 2017-12-01)

#444

We love this good man!

(Danbury , 2017-12-01)

#451

I've known ronnie for years he's to nice of a person to be treated like this

(Danbury, 2017-12-02)

#454

I support Robbie!!! He deserves his job back!!!

(Rosharon , 2017-12-02)

#455

This unjust and unfair !!!!

(Angleton , 2017-12-02)

#456

I adore Robbie. He is a wonderful man who I have known many years. He always puts a smile on my face and Wal-Mart is not the same without this sweet man. You have just lost my business and I am telling many people who love and adore Robbie to boycot you until he gets his job back. I am very disappointed in you at Angleton Wal-Mart for doing this to Robbie. He is a hard worker and does not deserve this, and at Christmas too!! I am very disappointed in all of you!!!!!!

(Angleton, 2017-12-02)

#457

Firing someone for being late is uncalled for. You need to get him back.

(Wharton, 2017-12-02)

#458

I believe this dedicated employee should have his position back at Wal-Mart!

(Alvin, 2017-12-02)

#460

I. Believe Robbie deserves a second chance

(Tuttle , 2017-12-02)

#464

Hire him back or I will not spend another dollar with any Walmart !

(Brazoria, Tx, 2017-12-02)

#465

Robbie is always a welcome sight when I got to Walmart in Angleton. I have always thought well of Walmart for allowing him to work and maintain his dignity. Now I am just saddened and somewhat repulsed at walmart for their actions.

(Liverpool, 2017-12-02)

#466

I’m signing this because he is such a great man & always made me smile when I saw him.

(Angleton, 2017-12-02)

#467

Praying for you Robbie. I will be sharing this on my Facebook in hopes that it will get you more signatures.

(Angleton, 2017-12-02)

#469

This is truly a sad day. What scum would do this? Oh wait Wal-Mart management. I hope the individual that is responsible for this gets his or hers.

(Angleton, 2017-12-02)

#470

He deserves his job back because he's been with the company for so long as a good loyal employee and everyone deserves some consideration. Anyone can have issues with their vehicle.

(Liverpool, 2017-12-02)

#474

He deserves better after such a long career with Wal-Mart

(West Columbia, 2017-12-03)

#481

I always enjoyed seeing Robbie. He's a great guy.

(Angleton , 2017-12-03)

#485

I love visiting with Mr. Mitchell (Robbie) at Walmart, He helps me get through my days. Just knowing he is there and seeing his spirit and devotion, lets me know there is good still in this world. BRING ROBBIE BACK!!!!!

(ANGLETON, 2017-12-04)

#486

I've known Robbie since I worked at Dollar General in Danbury (2006)! Sweetest Guy ever and this is not what I expected with such a loving person. Love coming in a seeing Robbie and catching up about his boys and him!!!!

(Angleton, 2017-12-04)

#487

Robbie Mitchell has heart, integrity and desire to make something out of his life. He deserves to be treated as such!!

(Rosharon, 2017-12-04)

#489

This was just wrong for,g him after w0 year
Robbie is the most loyal and dedicated person I know and I know he called in and followed protocol

(Angleton, 2017-12-04)

#490

I’m signing this because every time I go down there to see my family, I always go to Walmart and I have seen this man there every time I walk in. He is one of the most polite employees Wal-Mart has! The Wal-Mart in Angleton sucks, the employees are rude and judgmental! Wal-Mart had an awesome employee and decided to let him go...that makes no sense whatsoever.

(Huntington, 2017-12-04)

#492

He put a smile on my face.and always helpful.

(Angleton, 2017-12-04)

#494

He is my cousin. He loves working there. He loves working! Any company would be lucky to have him.

(Seattle , 2017-12-04)

#495

Robbie Mitchell is an awesome man, employee, husband and father of two boys. Robbie has been a huge ASSET TO WALMART! He always has a smile and kind word. He with his disability could stay home and just draw disability but, he chose to WORK for Walmart for 22 years. Now Walmart in Angleton has decided to falsely fire him 2 years before retirement. SHAME ON YOU WALMART!! You have lost my family’s business until Robbie has his job back and an apology

(Angleton , 2017-12-04)

#496

Robby is one of the most friendliest employees. It wasn't right to fire him for being late!!!!
Honestly I hope the family sues Walmart, cause I know there's more than Robby that's been late and not have the disabilities Robby has!!!
The worse thing about it is, they did it but the WORST THAN ANYTHING IS IT WAS DONE AT HOLIDAY TIME!!!!

(Angleton, 2017-12-05)

#497

He's such a sweet man!!!! If anything walmart doesn't deserve him!!!!! But if he want back they should welcome him with great big open arms shame on Angleton Walmart!!!!!!

(Angleton , 2017-12-05)

#502

I believe in positive fixtures in place in our community, Robbye was one.

(angleton, 2017-12-05)

(Angleton, 2017-12-06)

#507

he has always greeted me with a big smile

(angleton, 2017-12-06)

#512

Really????? Does walmart really expect the public to believe the firing was justified? 22 years of service evidently means nothing. Walmart needs to reconsider its decision and bring Robby back with back pay included.

(Angleton, 2017-12-07)

#513

I GRE up with Robbie and appalled at Walmart.

(Gilmer, 2017-12-07)

(Angleton, 2017-12-07)

#524

I feel Robbie deserves his job back. He has worked to many years to be treated this way. They sure wanted him when he started there Danbury was supportive and letting them know what it meant to our community

Because what they did is wrong and absolutely disgusting. Hoping he will get his job back. God bless him
