I fully support CLT and fair wages!

(New York, 2019-04-19)

I am a CLT who is outraged at the low ball counterproposal Barbara Bowen put in for us CLT's!!! I personally feel like the President is NOT doing her job advocating for CLTs!! The offer she put in is NOWHERE near enough to make our salary EQUITABLE. I feel forgotten , ignored and DISRESPECTED by my own Union President. HORRIBLE!!

(Astoria NY, 2019-04-19)

#4

I am signing because everyone should be getting paid according to their educational and life experiences

(Bayside, 2019-04-19)

#5

College Laboratory Technicians Deserve equitable treatment. We are always in the working in the background making sure the departments daily operations run as planned.

(BRONX, 2019-04-19)

My lab tech at LaGuardia OTA program was amazing and she deserves the best. Lab techs are the heart and soul of hands on experience in college they deserve more!

(New York , 2019-04-19)

#12

I'm signing because I think we really need to keep our CLT's happy, at least as happy as everyone else.

(Bronx, 2019-04-20)

#14

As CLT's we are part of PSC-CUNY and we are not treated as members

(YONKERS, 2019-04-23)

#15

I'm signed this petition because we are lowest paid titles and Article 22 needs to be updated including the recognition Laboratory Specialist and Laboratory Technicians work load with in the changes of the job description

(New York, 2019-04-24)

#21

CLTs deserve so much more than what is being offered to them in this contract.

(New York, 2019-04-29)

#22

Fair salary is important to all of us!

(Staten Island, 2019-04-29)

#25

I feel strongly that I should be compensated for the work that I do. I work three part time jobs in addition for working as a CLT for over 18 years. I need my union to represent all of us.

(New York, 2019-04-29)

#27

Competitive salaries for CLTs.

(New York, 2019-04-29)

#28

It is very unfair what is happening to the CLT negotiations in the monetary aspect of demands....

(Bronx, 2019-04-29)

#32

I am signing because after 32 years as a CLT and being at countless PSC meetings and contract discussions there is still not an equal wage schedule for CLT's. There needs to be a serious reworking not only of all CLT pay structures but also a self examination of the very progressive culture that our union presents itself as.

(Staten Island, 2019-04-30)

#34

I support my union and I want a competitive salary so I can continue to support CUNY.

(Bronx, 2019-04-30)

#37

we need fair salaries for all adj. and full time CLTs

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-01)

#39

I want a living wage and some respect!

(Rego Park , 2019-05-03)

#41

As the letter above indicates, the union is only as strong as its weakest members. The working conditions of the CLTs need serious revamping, along with those of adjuncts. We must all work together on this fight.

(Jersey City , 2019-05-03)

#43

All CUNY employees deserve a living wage.

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-04)

#44

Living wage now for CLTs *and* adjunct faculty! An injury to one is an injury to all.

(New York, 2019-05-04)

#48

Adjuncts and CLTs must stand together.

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-04)

#54

DOWN WITH PSC ESTABLISHMENT.

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-07)

#56

I am signing this letter due to the unfairness the PSC has provided for the CLT chapter and the lack of bargaining!

(Central Islip, 2019-05-07)

#57

We need to be represented although we are a small group of people

(Bronx, 2019-05-07)

#67

I believe in everything that was written in the petition. It is time that CLT's get the recognition they deserve.

(New York, 2019-05-07)

#68

I fully support the job that CLTs do to make our teaching and learning experience possible for our students.

(Yonkers, 2019-05-07)

#69

Time and again, the CLTs are forgotten. After so many years of a widening gap, it is getting to be impossible to continue to survive here in Brooklyn. During all those years without raises I lost an apartment and now I live with my family in a much smaller space. Had we been getting decent raises things might have been different.

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-07)

#70

In support of a hardworking and over used organic structure that is being destroyed due to an assumption it will always be restored.

(New York ( formally), 2019-05-07)

#71

Solidarity with CLTs.

#74

An injury to one is an injury to all.

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-07)

#75

I support the cause.

(Flushing , 2019-05-07)

#76

I'm a union member and need to support their efforts.

(Bronx, 2019-05-07)

#78

I'm finishing my MFA and it will guarantee nothing in regard to promotion. I will receive a pathetic 1K a year raise for having a terminal degree. I will have the same education as the professors in my film program and make HALF of what they do, yet I'm here 5 days a week four semesters a year.

(Astoria, 2019-05-07)

#79

I'm signing because CLTs are very much underpaid and they are my brothers and my sisters and deserve a living wage.

(Kew Gardens, 2019-05-08)

#83

With the incredibly high cost of living in NY, the low wages makes it very difficult to make ends meet. As a laboratory technician with a masters degree, the compensation is not at the level it should be, giving me reason to leave CUNY for better job opportunities.

(New york, 2019-05-13)

#85

I'm signing because of the salary is extremely low considering the amount of daily workload.

(New York, 2019-05-16)

#88

I care

(Bronx , 2019-05-20)

#90

FUND PUBLIC EDUCATION TO THE EXTENT THAT THE EDUCATORS DEMAND!

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-27)

#92

I'm signing because as a 21 year member of the PSC-CUNY I am tired of seeing the most vulnerable get the least out of our contracts. We need free college for students across the board, 7K per class for adjuncts, and $5K for Chief CLTs, $7K for Senior CLTs, and $10K for CLTs. There is no excuse for paying poverty wages to most overworked vulnerable staff and expecting students to pay tuition when 1 in 2 CUNY students are food and housing inescure.

(Bronx, NY, 2019-05-27)

#95

I’m a member of 7KorStrike who believes our collective struggles must be solved together.

(Bronx, 2019-05-27)

#99

I support my CLT brothers and sisters. I agree with the quote: "The true measure of a union is defined by how it treats its lesser members." - Michael Hirigoyen, 2015

(New York, 2019-05-28)

#100

I'm signing because I am outraged at the utter disrespect that the CUNY administration has for its workers, both adjuncts and CLTs. The administration wants to save money on the backs of the lowest paid and most vulnerable workers , this is blatantly unfair and in some cases it has caused the death of some of our members. We need to unite and ultimately strike so that we will no longer be taken for granted and our work will be treated with the respect that it deserves.

(Bronx, 2019-05-28)

#104

A member of the 7k or Strike campaign, signing in solidarity!

(Brooklyn, 2019-05-30)
