It is the behavior of the people making sexist comments, not the name of the beer. They will find another way to sexist even if the name changesTodd Parker (Dartmouth , 2019-11-27)

I am tired of people ruining everything. Plus causing problems for local small business. The term "Dirty Blonde" has been used to describe hair colour for as long as I can remember and likely a long before that. So why is it an issue now? Because its attached to alcohol and not hair? Or just because some people just want something new to be offended by.Lacey Zwicker (Windsor, 2019-11-27)

I do not see how the name of this Craft Beer can be offensive when there are plenty of other alcoholic names out there that are way worse.Captain Morgan for example houses hundreds of Slaves. People order shots called Blow Jobs, Panty Twisters, White Russians and Black Russians just to name a few.
The female who started the outcry is also rumoured to be a part of the competition and in my opinion should not be in the bar industry if she can’t handle the slander that comes with it.
The beer itself is lovely. It has a slightly cloudy appearance that could also be judged as Dirty Blonde in colour.

There is plenty of REAL misogyny in the world. This is not that. Sexualising something that was never sexual just so you can claim offense is ridiculous. Offended? Not a bit. In fact, I went to their shop today and bought 2 beers: Frig Off...Dirty Blonde. Still not offended.Bobbi Zahra (Halifax, 2019-11-28)

I’m sick of people being offended by anything. Could a dirty blonde from Dartmouth also be male? Enough with the over top #metoo movement. It has its place for people who have suffered real issues but simply a name is brutal. Should hooters change its name?Jennifer Crouse (Timberlea, 2019-11-28)

This is an obvious witch hunt in the craft brewing industry of NS to attack a successful brewery for their product and business.I am personally not offended by the campaign. While I am a man and not a "dirty blond" I am sure hundreds if not thousands of women will sign this petition in solidarity for the staff and owners of Nine Locks.
It is a gutless, cowardly use of the Social Justice Warrior mentality to undermine a local business in Nova Scotia to hopefully better their standing within the Craft Beer Association.
