I am NOT a ticktock user, I don’t plan on it. But my fiancé is. This app is scary. It is spyware.

First off, there is much evidence to support that that app is spyware, lastly… it’s used by many teens and younger kids and has inappropriate content that’s either sexual in nature or just suggestive.

Onto the spyware claim… I’ve talked about things around my fiancé, fringe things, fringe video games, and somehow the algorithms of that app has shown her content related to our conversations. I’ve spoken my native language around her, it shows her content about my country of origin, or in my language.

DO NOT LET YOUR KIDS ON THIS APP! This app will spy on your kids, this app will track your actions on the device you use to access it, this app is spyware and should be banned in the United States and honestly the world…despite what creators say a simple ban of an app is nothing when safety of citizens and even children are at risk. And when privacy, even someone who doesn’t use it, seems to be violates
