I’m angry and fed up that these people get preferential treatment to everyone else ( tax payers)... and then abuse the privilege by leaving their rubbish and waste for others to clean up... Enough is enough!! 😡😡

Kim Hatchard (Poole, 2020-06-26)

Gypsy types always cause havoc yet pay nothing

John Moore (CORFE CASTLE, 2020-06-26)

Poole park is a 20 second walk from my front door, yet I can't take my 2 year old into Poole Park without having to dodge human excrement. It's beyond disgusting.

Chantal Steel (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#18

I love the area and lived there once

Robert Shaw (Scunthorpe , 2020-06-26)

The Council need to act, The public has had enough

Graham Johnstone (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#30

These scum should not be allowed to stop where they want, if I did this I would be arrested. Move them on now

Chris Kemp (Poole , 2020-06-26)

#31

It is a health and safety risk all the human feces, rubbish, soiled nappies lying around. For humans and animals

Helen Pryce (Poole , 2020-06-26)

I’m sick to death of having this battle every year with gypsies, travellers, call them what you like and services are provided for them to enjoy public facilities. I’m frightened of parking 10 minutes longer in a car park the rest of the year. Put an end to it now.

Carol Francis (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#37

I’m not working to pay for the clean up after these pigs

Lisa Roberts (Poole Dorset , 2020-06-26)

#38

This pos should be for everyone to enjoy and not as a holding pen for vile individuals who show no respect for our beautiful park. Kick them out now

Simon Baker (Bournemouth , 2020-06-26)

#39

We should not be opening poole park for travelers to destroy our park

Louise Soan (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#40

I was walking there most days when the lock down came in and leave need Poole park too.

Cerian McGuire (Poole, 2020-06-26)

My family have been regular users of Pooles parks and beaches for well over 30years, sick of seeing this year after year. I live near Branksome rec and they circled there first, but couldn’t get on this time. Just move them out of the area!!

Margaret Lawrence (Poole, 2020-06-26)

This is a beautiful area and now it’s full of shit! Sort this mess kit, you let them in, you get them out! Fed up of people being soft on people taking the micky, throwing rubbish everywhere, 50 tonnes of rubbish from the beach. Life guards protect the water, you need to create beach guards! If my dog took a crap and I didn’t clear it up I’d get a big fine yet these low life gypsies get to crap all over the place and no one blinks an eye, until you stand in it, your child falls in it etc etc. No morals, imagine teaching your kid to crap anywhere and throw rubbish everywhere.

Chris Boudier (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#47

Something must be done urgently We are all at risk judging by the amount of human faeces all over this area. A lovely park, now being ruined.

Jean Coates (Poole, 2020-06-26)

I’m tired of travellers coming and destroying the land they are on being abusive to people who get to close in a public space. Leaving their rubbish and dirt for the council to clean up. The list goes on. They have already chewed up the grass with there caravans. What would happen to me if l drove my caravan into Poole park? Would you provide me with a Portaloo and bins for my rubbish? No. I would be fined and moved on.

Helen Hunter (Poole, 2020-06-26)

Poole park is such a beautiful place that me and my children really enjoy, it saddened me to hear how it is being so blatantly disrespected and mistreated, when they finally move in who gets footed with the bill, how can they just cause so much damage and mess and no one blinks.

Holly Seymour (Poole , 2020-06-26)

#55

I think people should respect where other people live, clearly these people are just disrespectful animals and need to be moved on.

Theresa Wells (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#56

I am disgusted by this

Graham Sutherland (Poole, 2020-06-26)

#57

Because they are polluting our communal areas and nothing is being done about it.

Iryna Briggs (Bournemouth, 2020-06-26)

#59

The park is for us all to enjoy, not some minority to take over an d trash - get your act together BCP

Jeremy White (POOLE, 2020-06-26)

#60

We pay a lot of money to live in this beautiful place. They pay nothing, yet walk in , take over and destroy it all and walk away without a fine!! Can’t be right that the Police are even scared of them !

Nicola Webb (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#61

The government needs to change the law where travellers are concerned and prevent them camping wherever they like and ruining these places. They should also be made to abide by the same rules and laws as everyone else instead of given special treatment and privileges. They are parasites which hard working tax payers are forced to keep. So unjust and wrong!!

Mandy Burt (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#65

I'm sick of paying ever rising bills caused by visitors to our area causing untold devastation to local beauty spots.

Caroline Thorne (Poole , 2020-06-27)

#71

I'm disgusted these 'people' are allowed to abuse our park. If we parked there in our camper van we would be dealt with. One rule for us law abiding citizens, another for them. Hardly seems fair does it?!!?

Sue Harrison (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#73

The travellers are trespassing illegally. They have no respect for the environment and are leaving rubbish, dirty nappies and defecation in our beautiful Victorian park. We need the space to exercise in and they intimidate anyone who gets close. It is wrong and everyone knows it. They don’t pay taxes and we do.

Joanne Guess (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#75

Remove the travellers now

Christina McCrae (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#76

i use this beautiful park for my walk every day,its beautiful i dont go there now because i feel threatened, they are taking away locals freedom to use these wonderful facilities

Sharon Moors (poole, 2020-06-27)

#80

We the general public abide by paying tax. Car parking etc. It’s about time we all put in the pot. And didn’t use the excuse were a protected minority and live of the state.

Carina Fields (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#87

I live next to the park and see the council have spent the lottery grant on upgrading and now the portaloos to be installed a little late as I suspect the travellers effluent has already made its way into the ponds via the handy land drains located right next to the caravan doors. What is this council thinking? Perhaps the travellers were turned away from Bournemouth and were sllowed access to Poole instead. Let hope the result is not death to the wildlife in the ponds, both white and brown....Eh!

David Dominey (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#94

A friend who we look out for is an elderly, lonely and vulnerable lady living next to this illegal camp. She has cancelled her stay away at her son’s because of the traveller’s presence. She hasn’t seen him or grandchildren for months but fears leaving her home empty whilst they are there. She has in the past experienced young traveller children pulling up her flowers and confronted them.

Stephen Fields (Poole , 2020-06-27)

After adhering to the lockdown rules it is soul destroying to witness such behaviour a short distance from where we live together with the disgusting attitudes displayed on the beautiful beaches also a short way away. The police and local council need powers to deal with these situations immediately.

Caroline Brown (Poole , 2020-06-27)

#110

I pay council tax but can’t take my car into Poole park but travellers are allowed in and spoil the park that was left to the people of Poole

Jill Bullock (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#112

There disgusting attitudes and total disrespect for the park is intolerable and should never be permitted

Peter Vowden (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#114

Poor Park has become a health hazard!

Georgina Bottomley (Blandford Forum, 2020-06-27)

#117

I have friends in the area and it's appalling. Stop this madness!

Katie Sheppard (Portsmouth, 2020-06-27)

#126

It's against the law occupy a public place to use as a camping area with the cost of tax payers money .

Cecilia Skilton (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#129

people cannot be allowed to trash our beauteful park.it must be illegal.

Stuart Jephcote (poole dorset, 2020-06-27)

#130

Travellers should not have any right to take over public spaces.

Debbie Hanlon (Wimborne, 2020-06-27)

#131

I'm fed up with the mess these people leave behind, the trouble they cause everywhere they invade.

Simon Brown (Poole, 2020-06-27)

#134

Sick to death of these people destroying our areas, and the council and police stand back and let them do it. We pay our hard earned money to pay council taxes knowing that it is being wasted to accommodate this disease.

Clive Granger (POOLE, 2020-06-27)

#135

No body is supposed to camp overnight anywhere and these people are moving from place to place putting lives at risk.

Tracy Bryson (Wigton, 2020-06-27)

#136

I use the area often with my child this is no longer a safe or clean environment. they shouldn't be aloud to just move onto the park or cause so much vandalism.

Hannah Larcombe (Bournemouth, 2020-06-27)

#141

I’m signing this because the local people who pay their local taxes have to endure an unacceptable situation with their open spaces by a set of people who have no respect for where they are, who they upset or what damage they do...the world is just an awful place at the moment & this situation, which we should be able to control makes it even worse..!!

Spencer Bowley (Poole, 2020-06-28)

#143

It is disgraceful that they are allowed to foul our special park

Michael Clarke (Poole, 2020-06-28)

#147

Fed up with them thinking that they can get away with everything also my counc6tax could be better spend than cl8up all there shit get rid now

Ann .McKenna (Poole, 2020-06-28)

#148

Totally unacceptable behaviour. Supporting BCP Residents.

Pauline Girling (BOURNEMOUTH, 2020-06-28)

#156

How can the council and police just stand aside and allow travellers set up camp in our park. Locals who pay rates for the privilege are not allowed in as it is supposedly shut. Makes my blood boil. BCP is just a joke, beaches and park unuseable by local people that pay for it yet so called visitors can come and abuse what we have worked for.

Martin Burt (Poole, 2020-06-28)

#157

I cannot understand how one group of society are allowed to get away with this behaviour?! If I drove my car onto the cricket pitch and put my tent up i’m sure I would be in big trouble.

Emma Griffen (Poole , 2020-06-28)

#158

My bike was stolen whilst I was at work at Poole Hospital, turns out a few other staff members have had their bike stolen too recently. Not a coincidence the travellers are close by!

Lara Bruce (Bournemouth , 2020-06-28)

#160

It is time to enforce the law

Bryan Dion (Poole, 2020-06-29)

#161

Apauling that we provide portaloo services for them when they break the law and disrespect and abuse our beautiful park why should we pay any increasing taxes when they don't

Sharon Dyke (Poole, 2020-06-29)

#162

ITS disgusting how they think they have the right to camp and destroy every think people have worked and pay for.

teresa ballett (poole, 2020-06-29)

#165

I believe if they want to live here they have to pay as we do. We have to pay to clear their mess.

Diane Ryan (Bovington , 2020-06-30)

#169

I detest 'travellers/gypsies/et al' and all they stand for!
