Children need to get the education they rightfully have coming .

My grandchildren deserve to go to school and be educated in the class room, by an in-person teacher, and experience the social interaction with their fellow students. Especially at the young age of those special years and school memories you can never get back. I helped with the “virtual learning” last year and it left A LOT to be desired. Not to mention the kids detested it. And they love school and learning. Why did you do a survey of the taxpaying parents in the community if you are totally disregarding the majority of parents wishes? What if all our healthcare workers, first responders, police, grocery store employees, janitors, service workers etc etc decided that it is OPTIONAL to go to work!! They have a responsibility and so do our schools, educators, and school board members and community “leaders” to our children! Our most PRECIOUS resource. Funny all surrounding schools found it important enough to serve their communities!

This is a complete joke to not allow our kids to go to school when every nearby school is opening. Our kids can’t be robbed of their education. This is our future generation! Leave politics out of it!

My children need the interaction of kids their age. My daughter, who LOVES school, was a broken mess and we hard the hardest time getting her off the couch to do anything because the thing she loved most was taken away from her. I can’t imagine something you love so much and have it taken away from without even listening about why you need it

My children need to go to school for their social and emotional well being. It’s more important than the Fear of C19. We will live will virus forever, move on.

I believe we should be sending kids back to school who want to go back to school. I live in the town of Maine, so we don't have neighbors my kids get to see. They need the interaction as part of a healthy lifestyle.
