Its a crying bloody shame, government needs to step in asap!

The CET need a huge amount of govenrment support to continue providing their beautiful mahi and care to our tamariki

Albie Tipene (New Plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1002

parents need to be spending quality time with their children instead of having to fundraise all the time for money

Tracey Eales (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1003

I care about disabled children... Not like the Government.

Liz Arden (New Plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1010

It isn’t fair!!

Emma Hislop (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1011

I’m signing because I believe our disabled should be heard and seen and given the best! They deserve just as much as anyone else does if not more!!!!

Rachel Cash (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1013

I believe conductive education should get funding from the government . It is of huge benefit to disabled children and should be given to recognition it deserves.

Marie-Claire Kay (Kurow, 2020-08-27)

#1014

This is*****ed up, you give 11mil to a privately owned green childcare, spend the money on children that actually ******* need it

Jacolene McPhee (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1015

Parents of kids with disabilities shouldn’t have to fundraise and fight for $$ for their kids to get an education! It should be government funded.

Bronwyn Macey (New Plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1018

I'm signing as i believe this is a valuable centre for our area. Totally behind this

Peggy Savage (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1020

Because I have a child with a disability and sick of them getting left behind in the system 🙃

Kimberley Herewini (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1023

Funding has been directed to the wrong areas!

Tracey Elliot (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1024

Where's the equity or equality in this? A school for the rich/ elite places more importance than an education and care that is severally underfunded! Sorry if you can afford to build an elaborate school you can afford to maintain it!

Natasha Good (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1025

They need the money. Please support them.

Jo Blowfield (Auckland, 2020-08-27)

#1026

From here, New Zealand is one of the most rational places on earth; how can they have got this SO WRONG ?? What's going on ??!!

Ruth Morgan (Vauxhall , 2020-08-27)

#1027

Disability services should not be under prioritised over a PRIVATE enterprise charging $20,000 per student - just because sustainability is sexy. Don't forget the struggles of less abled children and their families.

Kathy Wright (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1028

This brings so much to our community, and has benefitted so many children, essentially providing a survive that should have been government funded from the very beginning. They do an incredible job.

Sally Reid (New Plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1036

This is shit. Support the rigbt people!

Chrissy Askew (New plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1042

These kids and the adults who help them deserve a chance and they really do deserve to be acknowledged for their work, they deserve to be funded.

Rebecca Potts (Waitara, 2020-08-27)

#1043

This is crazy this organisation should 100% get funding for the children and their families to have the same opportunities as the rest of the kids in nz!

Kim Jordan (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1044

Totally wrong that these children don’t get the funds they deserve, to make their lives more ‘normal’ - they already are up against it, and then schools like the new Green School gets $11m handed you them... so wrong

Maxine Watson (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1047

Because I support Conductive Education for Whānau who need it, here in Taranaki

Rose Haskell (New Plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1048

Plenty of shovel ready opportunities here..already employing people and making a difference..11.7 million could be split across Taranaki including Conductive

Lisa Garrod (Ahititi, 2020-08-27)

#1055

Conductive Education is essential to the children and parents/ caregivers of Taranaki. Craig and his team have worked so hard to not only to build an amazing and successful center but also dedicated so many hours organising multiple fundraising events to keep Conductive operating for these amazing kids. I really hope the government supports them with funding.

Bronwyn Jordan (New Plymouth, 2020-08-27)

#1058

I'm passionate about the disability service, a lot of these people don't have a voice......we need to be that for them.

Jessie Annison (Np, 2020-08-27)

#1064

Worthy of every dollar!

Milla Christiansen (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1066

This is an important resource that those children can’t afford to lose.

Wendy Cartledge (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1067

We need this educational support to continue

Donna Akariri (Bell Block, 2020-08-27)

#1069

I agree it is a head wind for disabled children and their families in Aotearoa. Specialist schools like Conductive Education are essential and need government funding. We have an 18 year old son with disabilities. It has been a complex, exhausting, never ending battle to get him the support he needs.

Leigh Honnor (Inglewood, 2020-08-27)

#1073

11.7 million for private wealth promotion when our most needy go under funded is just wrong.

Paul Johnson (New Plymouth , 2020-08-27)

#1077

This is a fantastic team that should, without question, be supported and funded by our taxpayers dollars. Please support them!

Aaron Fore (New Plymouth , 2020-08-28)

#1078

I think that it is disgusting that the Government is giving 11.7 million dollars to a private school. If this school is so great then they could get a loan from a Bank

Jennifer Fletcher (42553, 2020-08-28)

#1079

I am outraged that elitism and financial gain is being valued over crucial suport for kids and their families who struggle to be heard. Fighting for what your child deserves is so soul destroying.

Fiona Blackbourn (New Plymouth, 2020-08-28)

#1080

This is absolutely abominable when you have schools for the disabled children barely existing this is white supremacy at its best what a sad and sorry government we have be gone for good Labour

Fran Davey (New Pkymouth, 2020-08-28)

#1082

conductive education taranaki off great support with special education and physical education to help children learn an get there independence to walk again a live a more normal life which is very important in a special needs childs life

Joy Ludeman (new Plymouth , 2020-08-28)

#1083

I’m signing this because it is unfair. Share the funding and help all

Tracey Moore (New Plymouth , 2020-08-28)

#1090

These children won’t be able to live a full life without some sort of professional help. Basic human rights.

Courtney Bisset-Yandle (New Plymouth , 2020-08-28)

#1091

This is an essential service for those kids who need it. Funding it should be a no-brainer!

Rachel Douglas (Okato , 2020-08-28)

#1098

There is an overwhelming need for the education of our special needs children. Parents have enough to deal with, without having to constantly fundraise to support a childs educational rights.

Charlotte Arbuckle (waitara, 2020-08-28)

#1100

They need funding, they are a huge asset to our community and families

Jody Robertson (Taranaki , 2020-08-28)

#1107

Private schools do not need chunks of money. Kids with disabilities and most other public schools need it more.

Rhona Shaw (Dunedin, 2020-08-28)

#1109

I am signing this petition to raise awareness to the disabled instead of the stuck rich kids in this world
#RaiseAwareness

Micheal Vanderwalt (Waitara, 2020-08-28)

#1111

Conductive Education's work is AMAZING!
It's a VITAL SERVICE, provided to some of the most INCREDIBLE little humans that you'll ever meet!

Stephanie McDowall (Auckland, 2020-08-28)

#1112

These families deserve all the support and funding possible, and more. There but by the grace of god go I. I can only try to imagine what life is like and for them to have to worry about funding, along with all the other challenges they face is grossly unfair.

Catherine Mueller (Havelock North, 2020-08-28)

#1113

conductive education need funding to operate otherwise they will close. The green school do not. Special needs kids always get left out. No one cares. Priorities are in the wrong place.

Angela Amaru (Taranaki, 2020-08-28)

#1118

It is an essential school !!!!

Jo Young (New plymouth, 2020-08-28)

#1146

Education should be for all.

Wendy Bayliss (Auckland , 2020-08-28)

#1147

THIS IS JUST WRONG WRONG WRONG - The Green School is not NEEDED like Conductive Education is for disabled children!!!!? WTF!!!!!

Marta Wilson (New Plymouth, 2020-08-28)

#1159

This should be an essential learning facility. Without it the children involved would be fair worse off that would be otherwise. What they learn ensures a better future as young adults, their families and in due course government agency needs.
The parents and community work tirelessly to ensure it can stay open. Government funding in some way, shape or form should be no brainer.
Please support.

Delwyn McCurdy (New Plymouth, 2020-08-29)

#1161

The work done by Conducive Education is so valuable, would be a huge loss if this couldn’t continue due to a lack of funding

Angela Govier (Nelson, 2020-08-29)

#1162

My son went to Conductive Education in Auckland and we need all our Cerebral Palsy kids to be able to access therapy like this. Do we want the best for these kids - best quality of life, best opportunity to get meaningful and engaging work, best chance to contribute to Society or do we want to throw them on the scrap heap of life to not realise their potential. Every kid should get a fair shot at a great life! I fully support your struggles and want to see change at a governmental level.

Merryn Straker (Arkles Bay, 2020-08-29)

#1163

We need to do more to help these children. Give the best opportunity possible.
